Experience:
3-year Diploma in Medical Technology (Radiology & Imaging) from a recognized institution under the State Medical Faculty, or B.Sc. in Medical Technology (Radiology & Imaging) from a UGC-approved university/institution.
No 3rd class or Minimum CGPA/GPA 2.50 out of 4.00 and Minimum CGPA/GPA 3.00 out of 5.00 in academic career.
Minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience in Radiology & Imaging after completion of the degree.
Candidates must have hands-on practical experience in all routine X-ray procedures, major Contrast X-ray procedures, and Fluoroscopy, and must be capable of performing these procedures independently.
Candidates without practical experience in Fluoroscopy and Contrast X-ray procedures should NOT apply.
Practical experience in a hospital/diagnostic center with 1000 mA X-ray and Fluoroscopy equipment will be required.
Candidate must be non-smoker.
Age: Maximum 30 years on the application deadline.
Job Responsibilities:
Perform all types of routine and specialized X-ray examinations accurately and independently.
Operate 1000 mA X-ray machine efficiently and safely.
Perform Fluoroscopy procedures independently using a 1000 mA X-ray/Fluoroscopy system.
Perform all major Contrast X-ray procedures independently, including relevant gastrointestinal, genitourinary and other contrast studies as required.
Ensure proper patient positioning, exposure selection, image quality and radiation safety during all procedures.
Assist radiologists during specialized radiological and fluoroscopic procedures when required.
Maintain proper patient records and comply with departmental protocols, infection prevention measures and radiation safety guidelines.
Ensure proper care, handling and routine operational checks of X-ray and fluoroscopy equipment.
Perform any other duties assigned by the authority.
Required Skills & Competencies
Must have hands-on practical knowledge and independent working experience in all types of X-ray procedures.
Must be capable of independently performing Fluoroscopy procedures.
Must have hands-on experience in all major Contrast X-ray procedures and be capable of performing them independently.
Must have sound knowledge of exposure techniques, patient positioning, image quality and radiation protection.
Ability to operate and handle 1000 mA X-ray/Fluoroscopy equipment independently and safely.
Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a hospital environment.
