MBBS degree from a BMDC-recognized institution.
Successful completion of one-year internship.
One year of training or experience in Ophthalmology will be considered an advantage.

We are seeking dedicated and motivated Resident Medical Officers (RMOs) to join our team at IIEI&H. The Resident Medical Officer will be responsible for providing medical care to patients with ophthalmic conditions under the direct supervision and guidance of senior Ophthalmologists. This is a two-year training program designed to provide RMOs with comprehensive practical experience, clinical knowledge, and professional skills in ophthalmology through close collaboration with experienced Ophthalmologists and other healthcare professionals.
Major Responsibilities:
Provide medical care and appropriate clinical support to patients admitted to the hospital under the direct guidance and supervision of the concerned physicians and senior Ophthalmologists.
Work in close coordination with mentors and the relevant departments in the delivery of educational and medical services.
Perform clinical duties during day, night, weekends, and public holidays according to the assigned duty roster.
Conduct physical examinations and assist in the assessment, diagnosis, and management of patients with ophthalmic conditions.
Participate in medical rounds and present patient cases to senior physicians and Ophthalmologists.
Administer medications as prescribed and monitor patients' clinical progress and response to treatment.
Maintain accurate, complete, and up-to-date patient records, medical charts, and clinical documentation.
Communicate and coordinate effectively with Ophthalmologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure appropriate patient care.
Attend the Outpatient Department (OPD) regularly as directed by the hospital authority.
Participate actively in academic activities, clinical discussions, case presentations, and other educational programs.
Develop and maintain excellent interpersonal and professional relationships with colleagues, physicians, patients, nursing staff, and other members of the healthcare team.
Carry out duties and responsibilities assigned by senior physicians, mentors, or other competent authorities.
Perform any other relevant clinical or academic duties as assigned by the hospital administration.
