Experience:

• 7 to 8 years

• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institute/university
• Diploma in Engineering with B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institute/university.

• 7 to 8 years

• Experience in hospital/healthcare facilities will be preferred.
• Strong technical knowledge of Mechanical engineering, including HVAC, chiller, VRF, AHU/FCU, STP and RO systems.
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot the BMS (alarms, trends and set points) and coordinate with BMS vendors.
• Working knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS) used for monitoring and control of HVAC and other mechanical plant.
• Knowledge of BOQ, estimation, rate analysis and quantity survey.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word and AutoCAD.
• Good troubleshooting, supervision and vendor-management skills.
• Good communication, reporting and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage emergency maintenance requirements.

• Provide design, installation and maintenance support for the hospital's HVAC systems.

• Ensure maintenance of the chiller plant, AHUs, FCUs, cooling towers and ducting accessories, and carry out troubleshooting of VRF and air-conditioning systems.

• Monitor temperature, humidity, pressure, flow and overall system performance of HVAC and related plant, and take corrective action where readings deviate from requirements.

• Operate, monitor and maintain the Building Management System (BMS) for HVAC, chiller plant, AHUs/FCUs, pumps and other mechanical plant, including review of alarms, trends and set points.

• Coordinate with BMS vendors for troubleshooting, programming and integration of mechanical systems with the BMS, and use BMS data to support preventive maintenance planning and system optimization.

• Ensure maintenance of the Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) and the Reverse Osmosis (RO) plant.

• Ensure maintenance of the manifold system.

• Carry out and supervise preventive and general maintenance of the hospital lifts.

• Carry out and supervise preventive and general maintenance of the different motors of the hospital, including troubleshooting of the forward-reverse system of motors.

• Troubleshoot the laundry equipment, including the dryer machine, hydro machine and washing machine.

• Troubleshoot and maintain the Fire Detection and Protection System.

• Troubleshoot and maintain the generator and the electrical substation.

• Carry out household wiring design and installation as required by the hospital.

• Prepare tender schedules, technical specifications and tender documents for projects and maintenance works.

• Prepare BOQs, cost estimates and material/equipment quantity requirements, including estimates for projects and maintenance works, using rate analysis and quantity survey.

• Review and evaluate vendor/contractor quotations, and verify work measurements, BOQ quantities and running bills before processing.

• Respond to emergency maintenance requirements, supervise technicians and vendors, and maintain maintenance reports and documentation.
