Salary: Tk. 25000 - 30000 (Monthly)

• Age 20 to 45 years

• Proven experience in paddy markets, working with rice mills, or agri/feed companies
• Strong local network with farmers, traders, and aratdars
• Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills
• Deep knowledge of regional sourcing zones (North Bengal / South Kushtia)
• Field-oriented, adaptable, and results-driven
• Knowledge of seasonal cycles — Aman, Boro, Aus harvest periods, and how local weather affects supply
• Awareness of regional paddy varieties (e.g., BRRI dhan28/29, Miniket, Swarna, Kataribhog, etc.) and quality indicators such as moisture %, purity, grain length
• Efficient in bulk procurement, managing daily purchase targets
• Coordination with transport and logistics for timely delivery to mills or warehouses
• Basic understanding of storage and drying to avoid post-harvest losses
• Tracks daily and weekly paddy prices across mokams and haats
• Monitors competitor activity (e.g., local mills, feed companies, or traders)
• Reports insights to central sourcing and strategy teams for decision-making
• Familiar with purchase records, quality control slips, weighbridge entries, and digital procurement systems
• Understands company policies on vendor registration, pricing, and internal audit standards
• Preference will be given to professionals already engaged in purchasing paddy for rice mills

Agroshift Technologies Ltd., one of Bangladesh’s fastest-growing agri-tech supply chain leaders, is expanding its Agri-Sourcing Division to strengthen our paddy procurement network across key regions.

We are hiring 2 Regional Sourcing Officers — one for North Bengal and one for South Bengal (Kushtia Belt).

Each selected candidate will be assigned to manage sourcing operations within their respective region.

North Bengal:

Naogaon • Bogra • Rajshahi • Natore • Joypurhat • Pabna • Dinajpur • Rangpur • Thakurgaon • Panchagarh • Nilphamari

South Bengal:

Kushtia • Sirajganj • Jhenaidah • Chuadanga • Meherpur

Key Responsibilities

• Source paddy and rice from local mokams, farmer networks, and traders

• Manage and monitor day-to-day procurement operations

• Build and maintain strong supplier and farmer relationships

• Track daily market prices, seasonal trends, and competitor activities

• Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with internal systems

• Support both paddy and rice sourcing activities as needed

• Coordinate with central operations, logistics, and finance teams for smooth execution

Compensation (Monthly, BDT) Sourcing Officer: ৳25,000 - ৳30,000 (Higher positions and compensation available for experienced candidates)
