Job Context:
∎ What are we looking for?
∎
∎ Experienced in beef supply chain; work experience of 2 years will get priority
∎ Minimum Bachelors; higher educational qualification will be considered specially
∎ Connection with existing beef vendors and ability to bring deals
∎ Mindset of visiting multiple locations for sourcing purpose

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Searching for new sources in the wholesale markets across the country
∎ Meeting with prospective vendors to assess their quality, inquire about their services, negotiate pricing & margins, and communicate any product or service-related concerns.
∎ Determine best practices around direct sourcing , contract farming and aggregators
∎ Conducting research on available vendors to determine which vendors offer the best pricing and product quality.
∎ Continually monitoring sales trends to determine which products are more popular than others.
∎ Implementing vendor selection programs to ensure that the best vendors are secured.
∎ Establishing standards by which to assess the performance of approved vendors. Own KPIs like supplier rating, delivery lead time, fulfilment rate, quality etc
∎ Perform as a functional bridge amongst external vendors as well as internal stakeholders.
∎ Ensure to track, measure, report and evaluate vendor performance.
∎ Troubleshoot all vendor problems and present to management as required
∎ Participate to formulate workflow processes, methods, and policies for applying vendors.
∎ Support to explore expansion across new business lines
