Job Responsibilities:
∎ Candidates will be in-charge of handling modern trade sales. Main responsibility of candidates will be to identify ALL modern trade institutions that buy such products and visit them individually to promote the products and then maintain the relationship with the outlet to ensure repeat sales.
∎ Modern trade refers primarily to superstores, shops that stock a wide range of food and toys items. Most 'modern trade' retailers (Agora, Unimart, Shwapno, Meena Bazar) have more than one outlet but others such as Lavender may have only one.
∎ Candidates will also be in-charge of Modern Trades. Candidates will also oversee arranging promotional events at Modern Trade outlets and be responsible for ensuring the company products are visible and found in prominent locations in the shop.
∎ Candidates must maintain good personal hygiene and have a smart appearance.
∎ Candidates must be able to work independently without much supervision.
∎ Candidates must be able to handle a team of people under their direction and keep them motivated and develop their skills.
∎ Candidates MUST be fluent in both written and spoken English and Bengali. Candidates must be confident, assured and well-spoken.
∎ Perform any other jobs as required by the management.
∎ No retail person. Only modern trade.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 20 to 40 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ At least 4 years of relevant experience handling Modern Trade
∎ A least 7 years of total work experience in sales and marketing.
∎ All candidates must have AT LEAST 5 years of experience working in modern trade sales of a reputed FMCG company.
∎ Candidates over the age of 50 will not be considered for this post except in exceptional circumstances.
∎ Friendly personality - approachable, outgoing, assertive
∎ Creative minded individuals are preferred for this post.
∎ Good organizational skills: ability to prioritize and multi-task
∎ Flexible and resourceful at problem-solving
∎ Basic computer knowledge (MS., Excel, Internet browsing, E-mail).
∎ Person with disability are encouraged to apply
