Experience:

• A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a quality control/assurance role within a manufacturing environment.
• At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory or team lead position is highly desirable.

Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge of quality control standards, tools, and methodologies (e.g., SPC, 7 QC Tools, Root Cause Analysis).
• Proficient in using MS Office, particularly Excel, for data analysis and reporting.

Core Competencies:

• Meticulous attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with production and other departments.

Job Summary:

• The Quality Supervisor is responsible for leading a team of quality inspectors and overseeing all quality assurance and control activities on the production floor. This role is critical for ensuring that our products meet all internal specifications and external regulatory standards before they reach the customer. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with a strong eye for detail and a passion for continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, train, and manage a team of Quality Control (QC) inspectors, assigning daily tasks and monitoring performance.
• Foster a strong quality-focused culture within the team and on the production floor.
• Oversee inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure they meet established quality standards.
• Implement and monitor quality checkpoints throughout the production process.
• Conduct regular audits of production lines to ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality protocols.
• Identify any deviations from standards and work with the production team to implement immediate corrective actions.
• Lead investigations into quality issues and product defects to determine the root cause.
• Develop and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to prevent recurrence.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of all quality inspections, test results, and audit findings.
• Prepare and submit regular quality performance reports to the Quality Assurance Manager.
• Analyze quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Participate in and contribute to continuous improvement projects (e.g., Kaizen, 5S) to enhance product quality and process efficiency.
