Requirements:
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Inspection: Conduct inspections of raw materials, in-process production, and finished garments for shirts and pants to ensure compliance with quality standards.
∎ Defect Identification: Identify and document defects in fabric, stitching, sizing, and overall workmanship. Classify issues based on severity and type.
∎ Quality Standards: Learn and uphold company quality standards and specifications for all products. Ensure that all merchandise is inspected and meets customer requirements.
∎ Reporting: Maintain clear and detailed records of inspections, defects, and corrective actions taken. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports.
∎ Collaboration: Work closely with production and design teams to communicate findings and suggest improvements. Participate in meetings to discuss quality issues and preventive measures.
∎ Audits: Participate in internal quality audits and assist in external audits conducted by clients or regulatory bodies.
∎ Continuous Improvement: Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in quality processes, techniques, and materials.
∎ The QC Inspector for shirts and pants will be responsible for ensuring that all finished garments meet the specified quality standards and customer requirements. This role involves conducting inspections throughout the production process, identifying defects, and implementing corrective actions to improve product quality.
