Responsibilities & Context:
SaRa Lifestyle Ltd., one of the fastest-growing retail fashion brands in Bangladesh, is looking for a "Quality Control Officer" to ensure that our garments consistently meet our high-quality standards. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting detailed inspections, identifying quality issues, and ensuring corrective actions during every stage of production—from raw materials to finished garments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform inline, pre-final and final inspections of garments (knit, woven, denim, etc.) to ensure quality as per company requirements.
• Inspect product details such as fabric quality, color fastness, print accuracy, sewing defects, trims/accessories and garment measurements.
• Monitor cutting, sewing, washing, and finishing processes to detect early-stage issues.
• Ensure proper labeling, packaging and presentation of final products before dispatch.
• Identify any non-conformance and coordinate with production, merchandising, and technical teams to resolve issues promptly.
• Check incoming materials (fabrics, trims, accessories) for compliance with specifications.
• Maintain complete inspection reports, defect logs, and quality checklists daily.
• Support internal audits and buyer inspections with accurate quality records and follow-up actions.
• Ensure the implementation of quality improvement plans (QIP) and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
