Experience:
Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Engineering
Master of Science (MSc) in Textile Engineering
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Textile Engineering or a related field.
Minimum 8-10 years of progressive experience in the Knit Garments industry, with preference given to candidates having experience in a Quality Manager role.
Must have strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
Proficiency in English (written and verbal).
Sound knowledge of global QA/QC practices for knitwear.
Lead and manage the overall Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) department for knit garments.
Develop, implement, and maintain quality control systems and standards across all production stages (from raw material inspection to final packing).
Ensure compliance with all international and buyer-specific quality standards, including successful preparation for and closure of technical audits and corrective action plans (CAP), like those mentioned in the PGI-Internal Initial Technical Audit CAP Report.
Oversee fabric inspection, trimming, cutting, spreading, sewing, finishing, and packing processes to minimize defects and non-conformities.
Monitor and manage the in-house quality inspection reports, lab/testing procedures (e.g., shrinkage test reports), and product safety measures (e.g., metal detection, broken needle control).
Coordinate with Production, Merchandising, and IE teams to optimize process control and factory efficiency.
