Responsibilities & Context:

Test Planning & Preparation:

·       Review business and technical requirements.

·       Create test scenarios/cases and test data.

·       Contribute to test planning and estimation.

·      Define test approach, entry/exit criteria, and coverage (integration + regression).

Test Execution:

·       Run functional, regression, integration, and system tests.

·       Plan/execute performance tests, analyze results, and raise bottlenecks.

·       Perform API tests and DB validations as needed.

·       Log, track, and follow up defects in issue tools.

·       Do negative and boundary tests for robust validation and error handling.

·         Perform in-scope security testing and coordinate findings with Security.

·         Test mobile apps (Android/iOS): functional, regression, usability, device/OS coverage.

·         Validate fixes; run retesting and regression with impact analysis for critical flows.

 Stakeholder Collaboration:

·         Partner with developers, BAs, and product owners to clarify requirements and close defects.

·         Join relevant Agile ceremonies (planning, stand-ups, retrospectives).

·         Support UAT: coordinate execution, triage defects, collect evidence, and drive sign-off.

·         Ensure environment and test data readiness; run smoke checks before execution.

·         Review vendor test evidence, fixes, and release notes; support acceptance.

·         Peer-review test assets, share knowledge, and drive QA improvements.

Quality Control:

·       Verify releases meet bank quality and functional standards.

·       Maintain test and defect documentation (cases, results, reports).

·       Improve QA processes and practices continuously.

·       Execute basic non-functional tests as in scope.

·       Report test status/risks; support release readiness and go-live sign-off.

·       Track quality metrics and recommend corrective actions.

·       Publish QA dashboards/reports and drive quality initiatives.

Automation Support:

·       Help build/maintain automated tests where applicable.

·       Support test automation in CI/CD pipelines.
