Experience:
Minimum Bachelor Degree in Engineering
B.Sc. in Textile Engineering will get priority.
Minimum 5 years of experience in relevant fields
International experience in Textile/Apparel industry with in-depth product quality knowledge of both knit, woven and denim
Should have sound knowledge in quality of all types of yarn, fabric, garments, accessories, print, embroidery, washing, and other applications
Should be highly technical and process oriented
Good communication skills
Demonstrable ability to lead and provide technical solutions
Good team player
Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects
Should be well-groomed, smart and energetic
Knowledge in textile will be a definite advantage
Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
As an Executive, Quality Assurance and Inspection, you will be responsible for maintaining product quality from pre-production sample to final with execution and ensure operations in line with the sourcing strategy to achieve KPI`s. You will also share regular quality feedback and necessary actions to improve quality.
Job Responsibilities:
Meet relevant quality control standards for products and prepare related reports within the designated timeline.
Plan, monitor, audit and ensure quality standards for products in coordination with the merchandising department.
Make sure KPI of Quality Assurance (QA) metrics are consistently met throughout the factory manufacturing process and advise on required criteria.
Make sure all necessary events are done from starting to end (PP, in line audits, final Inspections) on time.
Assist the department head with day to day routine activities for any technical, approval, or information issues.
Monitor effectiveness of supplier’s and manufacturer’s Quality Management System (QMS) and provide insight to production manager / owner for necessary development areas.
Create workbooks for easy understanding of sample status.
Reduce defects and make an action plan by analyzing the problems.
Solve the quality issues and establish a zero-defect culture in the production process.
Monitor defects and provide relevant reports, perform root cause analysis and corrective actions with proper guidance.
Implement various inspections to ensure quality standards and technical specifications are followed.
Investigate customer complaints and non-conformance issues, and take preventive measures for further development of quality control systems.
Check shrinkage before bulk cutting and adjust the pattern accordingly.
Inspect print and embroidery against approved swatches for approval.
Check accessories against approved trim files for approval.
Inspect fabric lots with approval swatches.
Inspect the pattern before cutting; if approved, permit trial cutting.
Perform in-line inspections and send reports to the factory.
Inspect initial finishing garments and approve them for finishing standards.
Work with factory representatives to initiate and follow up CAP (Corrective Action Plan) for necessary improvement in identified areas for quality, product safety, process management and general.
Be flexible in delivering assignments and travel anywhere for working purposes.
