Job Context:
∎ Reports to: Jhpiego Program Director
∎ The contract will be from December 15, 2019 to January 31, 2020, with data collection anticipated from January 5-16, 2020.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Confirm understanding of data collection tools to be used with the Jhpiego team
∎ Participate in regular calls and/or meetings with the Jhpiego team to update on progress of data collection, time frame, initial findings and discussion on data management process
∎ Hire a team of data collectors to assist with qualitative data collection
∎ In consultation with Jhpiego, schedule focus group discussions, key informant interviews, and observations for the period of January 5-16, 2020
∎ Recruit participants in consultation with Jhpiego
∎ Obtain consent for interviews and discussions
∎ Conduct qualitative data collection, including focus group discussions, key informant interviews, and observations
∎ Monitor processes of data collection to detect any quality assurance "red flags"; if any are noted, take the appropriate action to resolve the issue
∎ Collect data and/or responses using detailed notes on provided forms and recordings
∎ Provide all data collected and deliverables to Jhpiego no later than January 22, 2020
∎ Weekly calls and/or meetings with Jhpiego team to confirm understand and update on progress
∎ All materials and supplies are present and prepared as required to carry out the data collection
∎ Data collection recorded and reported on a weekly basis
∎ All data, including detailed notes, recordings, and a brief summary of themes submitted to Jhpiego no later than January 22, 2020

Additional Requirements:
∎ Demonstrated experience with qualitative data collection, especially participatory methods
∎ Experience hiring, training and supervising data collection staff
∎ Strong organizational and time-management skills
∎ Detail oriented and excellent communication skills
∎ Reading, written, and verbal fluency in English and Bengali
∎ Experience conducting data collection with adolescents and/or sensitive populations (data collection team should all have this required experience)
∎ Familiarity with human centered design approaches
