Education:
    • Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg) in Civil Engineering
  • Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications such as MRICS or equivalent are highly desirable.

Additional Requirements:
  • Age 30 to 50 years

Minimum of 5 years of QS experience, with at least 2 years in water treatment plant projects.

In-depth knowledge of cost estimation, budgeting, and contract management in water infrastructure projects.

Proficiency in cost management software (e.g., CostX, Candy, etc.).

Strong knowledge of FIDIC contract terms, procurement policies, and relevant construction laws.

Analytical skills for detailed cost and contract analysis.

Excellent negotiation and communication skills to liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.

Strong ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines.

English language proficiency is required.



Responsibilities & Context:

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor Manager with a proven track record in cost management for Water Treatment Plant projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Preparation of Interim Payment Certificates (IPC):

  • Accurately prepare and submit IPC for ongoing water treatment plant projects according to the contractual schedule. Coordinate with contractors and clients to verify completed work, ensuring all documentation supports the payment requests.

Budget Preparation and Cost Estimation:

  • Develop detailed project budgets based on water treatment plant designs and specifications.
  • Provide accurate cost estimates for all phases of the project, including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor services.

Cost Control and Monitoring:

  • Continuously monitor project expenditures and ensure alignment with the approved budget.
  • Prepare regular cost reports, analyze variances, and propose corrective actions when necessary to maintain budget compliance.
