Experience:
Professional training or certification in Garments Quality, AQL, or Quality Management will be an added advantage.
Experience:
Minimum 6–8 years of practical experience in Quality Assurance / Quality Control in a knit garment manufacturing factory.
At least 2–3 years of experience in a supervisory or in-charge role.
Strong hands-on experience in fabric inspection, sewing quality, finishing quality, and final inspection.
Experience in handling buyer inspections and third-party audits is mandatory.
Experience working with export-oriented knit garments (T-shirt, Fleece, Hoodie, etc.) is preferred.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of AQL systems, inspection standards, and buyer compliance requirements.
Good understanding of knit fabric defects, sewing defects, washing/finishing issues, and their prevention.
Ability to analyze quality problems and implement corrective & preventive actions (CAPA).
Strong leadership, communication, and team-handling skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight shipment deadlines.
Basic computer skills in MS Excel, Word, and reporting formats.
Good command of written and spoken English for buyer communication.
Honest, responsible, and quality-driven mindset with a strong sense of ownership.
Overall responsible for quality assurance and quality control activities of knit garments.
Ensure implementation and compliance of buyer quality standards, AQL requirements, and factory quality systems.
Monitor and control in-line, end-line, and final inspections to ensure defect-free production.
Identify quality issues, analyze root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Coordinate closely with Production, Merchandising, Cutting, Sewing and Finishing teams to maintain required quality levels.
Lead, train, and supervise QA/QC inspectors and line checkers to improve inspection efficiency and skill development.
Ensure proper execution of fabric, trims, and accessories inspection according to buyer specifications.
Review and approve PP samples, size sets, and pre-production approvals from a quality perspective.
Ensure measurement accuracy, workmanship, labeling, packaging, and carton quality meet buyer and shipment requirements.
Prepare and maintain quality reports, inspection records, and buyer audit documents.
Handle buyer inspections and factory visits confidently and professionally.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce alteration, rejection, and rework percentages.
Ensure compliance with factory SOPs, safety standards, and ethical requirements.
Work closely with Production and Merchandising to ensure right-first-time quality and on-time shipment.
