Financial Acumen:

  • Understanding of budgeting and cost management.
  • Ability to analyze financial reports and manage expenditure.

Inventory Management:

  • Knowledge of inventory control processes to minimize waste and avoid stockouts.
  • Implementing systems for tracking and managing stock levels.

Vendor Management:

  • Sourcing and selecting reliable vendors.
  • Monitoring vendor performance and ensuring timely delivery of goods.

Product Knowledge:

  • In-depth understanding of the products sold in the store.
  • Awareness of quality standards and specifications for grocery items.

Communication Skills:

  • Effective communication with suppliers, store staff, and management.
  • Ability to articulate purchasing needs and specifications clearly.

Organizational Skills:

  • Efficient management of purchase orders, invoices, and contracts.
  • Maintaining organized records of all procurement activities.

Technology Proficiency:

  • Familiarity with procurement software and inventory management systems.
  • Proficiency in using spreadsheets and other analytical tools.

Ethical Judgment and Integrity:

  • Adherence to ethical purchasing practices.
  • Ensuring transparency and fairness in dealings with suppliers.


Responsibilities & Context:

Responsibilities

  • Capable of independently manage All Purchase of this Company.

  • Must acknowledge about all kind of spare parts, accessories and tools in garment industry.

  • Responsible for the preparation and process purchase orders and documents in accordance with company policies and procedures.

  • Prepare budget and plan for all procurement activities.

  • Ensure that the production is not hampered due to delay in supply of required materials.

  • To develop new vendor or supplier directly or indirectly and maintain contact with them for smooth purchase operation.

  • To maintain update records of purchase products, delivery information and invoices.

  • Personally visit market to judge accurate market price of materials.

  • Must be hardworking, highly organized deadline oriented, honest, dedicated and self-motivated.
