Job Summary:

  • As our Public Relations Officer, you will be the voice and face of People’s Care. Your job is to build trust, create visibility, and strengthen our relationships with patients, families, the community, and partners. Through thoughtful communication, your work will help us share our mission and enhance our image as a healthcare brand people believe in.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Media and Public Communication

  • Act as the hospital’s official spokesperson for media and public inquiries.

  • Draft and distribute press releases related to hospital updates, events, or health campaigns.

  • Build and maintain relationships with journalists, healthcare reporters, and media outlets.

2. Patient and Community Relations

  • Handle patient complaints, feedback, and suggestions to improve service quality and satisfaction.

  • Educate and inform the public on hospital services, medical advancements, and health awareness topics.

  • Organize health talks, free medical camps, and community outreach programs.

3. Crisis Communication

  • Manage communication during emergencies such as disease outbreaks, accidents, or reputational issues.

  • Develop and implement crisis response strategies to protect the hospital’s public image.

4. Event and Campaign Management

  • Plan and coordinate hospital events such as health awareness days, blood donation drives, or wellness programs.

  • Promote hospital initiatives through community engagement and partnerships.

5. Branding and Image Building

  • Ensure consistent branding and messaging across all hospital communications.

  • Develop marketing content, brochures, and promotional materials to highlight hospital services.

6. Internal Communication

  • Coordinate internal newsletters, staff announcements, and recognition programs.

  • Support HR in fostering employee engagement and positive workplace culture.

7. Digital and Social Media Management

  • Manage the hospital’s social media presence and online reputation.

  • Post regular updates, health tips, and service highlights across digital platforms.

8. Stakeholder and VIP Relations

  • Liaise with government officials, corporate clients, donors, and other stakeholders.

  • Facilitate visits and tours for dignitaries or media representatives.
