Job Summary:

  • The Account Officer ensures that our finances remain healthy so we can focus on healing others. From budgeting to billing, auditing to reporting—you will play a critical behind-the-scenes role in maintaining trust and transparency across all financial dealings. Your accuracy, integrity, and dedication will keep the hospital running smoothly and ethically.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Record Management

  • Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions using accounting software.

  • Ensure timely and proper documentation of all payments, receipts, and journal entries.

2. Accounts Payable & Receivable

  • Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payments.

  • Monitor incoming payments from clients or customers and follow up on overdue accounts.

  • Reconcile accounts receivable and payable ledgers.

3. Bank Reconciliation

  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.

  • Monitor bank transactions and resolve discrepancies promptly.

4. Budgeting & Reporting

  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.

  • Prepare periodic financial reports such as balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements.

5. Compliance and Audits

  • Ensure all accounting practices comply with relevant laws, standards, and internal policies.

  • Support internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.

6. Tax and Regulatory Filings

  • Assist in the preparation and submission of tax returns and statutory filings (e.g., VAT, GST, income tax).

  • Keep up to date with financial regulations and changes in tax laws.

7. Payroll Support

  • Support payroll processing by maintaining employee financial records and coordinating with HR or payroll service providers.

8. General Administrative Duties

  • Collaborate with other departments for financial clarifications and approvals.

  • Maintain organized financial files and systems for easy access and reference.
