Education:
Minimum: Graduation in any discipline.
Preferred: Post-graduation in Social Sciences, Business Administration, Disaster Management, or related fields.
Experience:
At least 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably in programme support, operations, or project administration within the NGO or development sector.
Experience in fieldwork, programme support, and administrative support is an advantage.
Competencies:
Strong understanding of programme implementation and operational support functions.
Good communication skills in English and Bangla (writing and speaking).
Ability to work effectively in multicultural and team-based environments.
Proactive, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks under pressure.
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic digital tools.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to organizational policies and standards.
Positive attitude and commitment to child rights and community development principles.
The Project Support Assistant (PSA) will support the SPiRiT project, ensuring smooth implementation of project activities while also contributing to operational and administrative functions. The role involves coordination with programme staff, local stakeholders, and office teams to support both field activities and office operations, helping achieve SPiRiT’s objectives effectively and efficiently.
A. Programme & Activity Support
· Assist programme teams in field activity implementation.
· Organise and support trainings, workshops, and other events.
· Collect and compile activity data.
· Conduct field visits, observe different sessions, and support Community Facilitators of Partner NGOs.
· Collect case stories, success stories, photos, and video clips.
· Support management of organing training rooms and archiving of documents.
· Prepare and submit periodic reports with findings and recommendations from field visits.
B. Logistics & Administrative Support
· Manage vehicle maintenance, storage, and office equipment upkeep.
· Prepare procurement and financial documents as needed (PR, RFQ, CBA, PO, RN, PWAR).
· Coordinate travel, ticketing, venue bookings, and accommodation arrangements.
· Maintain and ensure proper functioning of laptops, projectors, servers, PABX, generators, and other electrical equipment.
· Keep the fixed asset register and inventory up to date.
· Maintain and manage Tdh land records and related documentation. Coordinate with local legal consultants and government courts on land-related matters and regularly update the Logistics Coordinator / DPM.
· Liaise with government offices as required.
C. HR & Financial Support
· Maintain attendance, leave records, personnel files.
· Assist petty cash, invoice processing, advance, and adjustment requests.
· Maintain finance documentation and archives.
D. Documentation, Reporting & Communication
· Document challenges, good practices, lessons learnt.
· Documentation of programme and field reports, and success stories.
· Maintain regular communication and coordination with team members and partners.
· Take meeting minutes and maintain documentation as and when required.
E. Supervision & Office Support
· Supervise the safety, cleanliness, and maintenance of office premises coordinating with office caretaker and guards .
· Ensure responsible use of Tdh resources.
F. Safeguarding & Compliance
· Uphold Tdh’s Global Code of Conduct, Child Safeguarding, PSEA, and Gender, Age & Diversity policies.
· Ensure team compliance with Tdh policies.
