Experience:
Master’s degree in public health, Health Economics, Health Policy and Health Systems related field.
Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible experience in public health project management, preferably in public health research.
Experience working with government stakeholders, particularly with the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoH&FW), is highly desirable.

Overview
Jhpiego, an international non-profit health organization affiliated with Johns Hopkins University, is seeking a ‘Project Specialist- implementation’ to oversee and coordinate disease surveillance activities in alignment with national priorities and project objectives. This role will focus on facilitating collaboration among stakeholders, aligning technical input, and ensuring that project activities are effectively planned, implemented, and monitored.
Responsibilities
Coordinate the development and monitoring of detailed project activity plans, including milestones, deliverables, and timelines, ensuring effective collaboration and communication among stakeholders.
Support Team Lead to maintain collaboration multidisciplinary Subject Matter Expert (SME) groups in surveillance and laboratory systems, defining working modalities.
Support project team to facilitate technical working sessions, policy reviews, and stakeholder validation meetings to finalize disease-specific recommendations and national surveillance priorities.
Assist Team Lead in drafting a national vision and strategic plan for disease surveillance and laboratory system strengthening, aligned with national priorities and timelines.
Support project team to document lessons learned, prepare donor reports, and maintain liaison with the MoH, development partners, and relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth project coordination and alignment.
Represent Jhpiego Bangladesh in government and partner meetings to advocate project goals.
Assist Team Lead to develop new project concepts note if necessary.
Support project team to prepare and submit scientific journal publications and abstract to national and international conferences
Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation to achieve the program’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding police among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so once the technology is completed, doing quality assessment by verifying generated contents.
