Experience:

• 3-years relevant experience in managing and facilitating community level WASH program, project coordination (Work with garments workers is preferred)·        
• Experience of community mobilization, community situation analysis on development issue preferably on WASH·       
• Reporting and documentation of the respective project.·        
• Good reporting skill in English and verbal & written communication with the donors and other agency.·       
• Excellent skills using commonly used software MS Word, MS Excel, internet and email communication.·        
• Excellent communications skills.·        
• Works well under stress and meet deadlines·        
• Experience to drive Motorcycle and have a valid motorcycle driving license.·        
• Must have quick decision making and problem-solving capability.·        
• Candidate should have positive attitude regarding Gender/PSEA, Child Safe Guarding and Code of Conduct.·

VERC in partnership with Water Aid Bangladesh is going to implement a title project Collective Impact on Future of Work in Bangladesh Project in Dhaka and Gazipur districts. Village Education Resource Center (VERC) is a voluntary organization registered with the NGOAB (Reg-133), MRA (Reg-01275-00523-00017) and Social Welfare department (Reg-Da-02282/89). Recruitment against the following project position will be made for implementation of project interventions:

Project Location: Dhaka (Ashulia and Savar) and Gazipur (Konabari) Based at Ashulia.

Job Description/Responsibilities:·        

• Project Officer will assist for ensuring training, orientation, monitoring, and advocacy activities for the community.·        
• S/he will assist the Hygiene promoter and Community worker in planning and to achieve monthly and quarterly beneficiaries targeted as per project document.·        
• S/he will ensure different logistic support to the front-line staff and provide supportive supervision for proper and timely implementation of the project activities.·        
• S/he will conduct regular field level monitoring of project activities and report accordingly.·        
• Responsible for checking and quality ensuring at least 70% of m. water report·        
• Capacity building of stakeholders including project staffs and community;·        
• Support field team in planning and implementation of the project; Maintain liaison with LGIs and other stakeholders to maximize the resources;·        
• Should have knowledge applying PLA/PRA tools in planning, monitoring activities at community level

Taka 41,000 - 43,000 and Others facilities will be applicable also based on available the project budget.
