Job Context:
∎ Job Title: Project Officer, Protection of Puberty School Girls in Bangladesh Project
∎ Responsible to: Programme Officer/Programme Manager.
∎ Project Duration: December 2021 to October 2022 (11 Months)
∎ Job Location: Golapganj, Shylhet

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Coordinate and manage the day to day running of the project, assisting the Programme Officer/Manager to ensure that all aspects are completed on time and within the agreed budget.
∎ Liaison with relevant Govt. Authority, Partner Organizations and Educational Institutions working in the project area.
∎ Strong facilitation skill in community mobilization, capacity building and empowerment process.
∎ Conduct and facilitate hygiene promotion, awareness and capacity building activities in selected schools.
∎ Maintain gender-sensitive approach in all stages of programme implementation.
∎ Assist to integrate protection and safeguarding measures throughout programme design.
∎ conduct capacity building training for field level staffs and Community Volunteer where necessary
∎ Work closely with School Teachers, Students for the promotion of menstrual hygiene management for better health to reduce the risk of occurring different diseases.
∎ Demonstrate leadership in writing and preparing relevant documents like reports, project updates, beneficiary lists, maps, capturing photographs etc.
∎ Demonstrate the use of MHM specific items which need special knowledge for using hygienically.
∎ Mobilize, organize and supervise, through facilitators or other means, members of the communities to promote the menstrual hygiene management practices
∎ Facilitate the conduction of participatory hygiene promotion sessions within school, with focus on menstrual hygiene management;
∎ Promote menstrual hygiene management practices through a variety of means, such as information sharing, dissemination, and communication materials
∎ Provide support to the distribution of menstrual hygiene management kits/Assist Project management in assessment, verification, distribution processes
∎ Perform any other jobs where and when necessary, as per direction of the management.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Only females are allowed to apply
∎ Knowledge/Skills/Competencies:
∎ Excellent verbal communication and analytical skills.
∎ IT skills (Microsoft Office, social media)
∎ Fluency in written and spoken English and Bengali.
∎ Prior experience on Menstrual Hygiene Management (MHM) is preferable

Salary: Tk. 24999 - 25000 (Monthly)
