Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor’s degree in any of the following discipline: Nutrition Science, Public Health, Agriculture, food security or relevant discipline from any university
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Support partners to implement the project activities and ensure the quality as per goal or objective of the project in coordination with Project Manager.
∎ Support project team and partners to Identify project needs and develop a detailed implementation plan.
∎ Keep track of a project’s progress and ensure its completion before the deadline.
∎ Monitor expenditures and create detailed reports for senior management.
∎ Develop and implement a partnership Strategy to ensure the smooth implementation of the project activity
∎ Regular coordination and communication with stakeholders e.g. Cox’s Bazar Municipality, DC Office, Civil Surgeon, UNO, other relevant INGOs/NGOs and private sectors.
∎ Liaison with other implementing partners, municipality and share the project progress.
∎ Represent the organization at different platforms e.g sectors, coordination meetings.
∎ Capacity building of partners and sensitize urban consumers in Cox’s Bazar city to demand healthy and diverse diets and changed their consumption behaviour and practices related to food and nutrition.
∎ Support partners to develop data-based evidence and document good practices contribute to knowledge exchange, joint learning.
∎ Assist project team and partners in developing and monitoring the overall monitoring and result measurement (MRM) system in a participatory way
∎ Select/develop process, tools (including mobile base monitoring tools) and techniques for capturing information on project impacts, outcomes, outputs, process and lessons learned.
∎ Carry out data quality assessment regularly for MEAL data based on agreed indicators to guide decision making.
∎ Develop weekly, monthly and other event reports including case incidence, best practices and process documentation that capture outcome of the project based on analysis.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 45 years
∎ A minimum of 3-4 years’ experience in relevant field;
∎ Excellent communication (written and oral) in English, negotiation and interpersonal skills;
∎ Capable of engaging public and private sector;
∎ Know about nutrition governance and nutrition promotion;
∎ Strong influencing and advocacy skills, political and cultural sensitivity;
∎ Fluent in english and bengali native speaker;
∎ Professional level in MS Office package, KOBO, ODK, or other related software.
