Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor's degree - in Agriculture, Forestry, Community Development/ Population Studies/ Social Science/ Development studies and or related subject. Professional level in MS Office package.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Prepare the monthly project activity plan for project Manager and set the work plan accordingly.
∎ Implement the project activities as per the approved plan and set work plan.
∎ Monitor the activity plan and keep regular update of achievement tracker.
∎ Prepare monthly progress report and provides data on project issues.
∎ Lead training workshops for relevant stakeholders, staff and key actors on IGA, Skill development, Market and Value chain related work.
∎ Develop a plan to create awareness among staff and project stakeholders and communities on how to lead market approach and Livelihood approach.
∎ Provide guidance to the community mobiliser and community in project implementation process and other project related technical issues.
∎ Maintain good communication with project stakeholders.
∎ Building up capacity of project stakeholders
∎ Represent HELVETAS Bangladesh in the sectoral group coordination meeting, UNO, Local government authority and other government meeting etc.
∎ Coordinate regularly basis with community and project stakeholders
∎ Contribute to develop/develop guidelines, tools, modules/manuals as per project requirement.
∎ Organise different need assessment for project activities
∎ Help to develop assessment report and present finding to relevant stakeholders.
∎ Take lead to identify new approach to implement project activities.
∎ Provide support and leading role at the community level and community mobiliser.
∎ Develop case studies

Additional Requirements:
∎ A minimum of 3 years' experience in the agriculture, livelihood, skill development, market linkage, value chain analysis, community development project, including a mature understanding of humanitarian and sustainable livelihoods.
∎ Excellent training and facilitation skills including experience in skill development, market linkage, value chain analysis.
∎ Have experience on implementation of livelihoods project, value chain development, skill development and cash for work interventions.
∎ Community development skills, including participatory community assessment and planning techniques, with skills in capacity building of communities and experience of working with different projects groups such as livelihoods, skill development and cash for work.
∎ Fluent in English, Bengali native speaker, Chittagonian desirable

Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ 12 months national employment contract with salary range BDT. 70,000/- to BDT. 90,000/- including all benefits (PF, Gratuity, Festival Bonus, Insurance and others as per HR policy). Based on fund availability and individual performance, the contract would be extended.
