Educational Requirements:
∎ B.Sc in Computer Science or Engineering (Civil/ Environment/ Water Resource, Computer etc.) and M.Sc/ Masters in those or other programs.
∎ M.Sc/Post-graduate degree must on any relevant disciplines.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)
Job Context:
∎ Environment and Population Research Centre (EPRC) is a multi-disciplinary research, education, development, training and networking non-government institution. Its vision is to redress sufferings of the poor. Its mission is to incorporate strategic research, training, technical service, laboratory analysis, information exchange/ dissemination and networking for effective and sustainable achievements in respective targeted development programs. It works in household/family, community, public places and institutional contexts under rural, urban/slum and coastal regions in normal and hazardous/disaster conditions in all over Bangladesh.
∎ EPRC will recruit a project officer to implement a research on development of apps, data management and communications with users of the water supply system.
∎ The duration of the proposed contract is 2 years.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Project Officer will follow-up/conduct:
∎ Project is on track with its work plan and financial aspects.
∎ Interactions with stakeholders in study areas (outside and inside Dhaka).
∎ Development of a simple app.
∎ Key project milestones and propose project plans to meet the needs of the expected outcomes/outputs.
∎ Data management and analysis as well as other activities under supervision of Project Leader.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 35 years
∎ Should have good computer and data management skills.
∎ Experience in apps management/development.
∎ Experience in MIS (M.Sc research in the topic may be considered).
∎ Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Bengali.
Salary: Negotiable
