Educational Requirements:

Job Context:
∎ Environment and Population Research Centre (EPRC) is a multi-disciplinary research, education, development, training and networking non-government institution.
∎ EPRC in partnership with Unicef is going to implement a project title `Provide Technical Assistance to DPHE for Strengthening Community Capacity and Arsenic Mitigation Initiatives to Ensure Drinking Water Safety for All` in Khulna and Barishal Division.
∎ Project Location: Paikgacha Upazila of Khulna District, Keshabpur and Sharsha Upazila of Jessore District, Kotalipara Upazila of Gopalganj District, Alfadanga and Bhanga Upazila of Faridpur District, Damudya Upazila of Shariatpur District, Babuganj Upazila of Barishal District, Nazirpur Upazila of Pirojpur District.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ S/he will assist for ensuring training, orientation, monitoring, and advocacy activities for the community.
∎ Produce training modules and guidelines for the capacity building of CBOs & UPs and Natural Leaders.
∎ S/he will assist the Community Mobilizer in planning and to achieve monthly and quarterly beneficiaries targeted as per project document.
∎ S/he will assist or conduct CAP, pre-triggering and triggering session for Arsenic safe and ODF community, village and Union declaration steps.
∎ S/he will ensure different logistic support to the front line staff and provide supportive supervision for proper and timely implementation of the project activities.
∎ S/he will conduct regular field level monitoring of project activities and report accordingly.
∎ Responsible for checking and quality ensuring at least 70%
∎ Capacity building of stakeholders including project staffs and community;
∎ Support field team in planning and implementation of the project; Maintain liaison with LGIs and other stakeholders to maximize the resources;
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 45 years
∎ 3-years relevant experience in managing and facilitating community level WASH program, Training module development, workshop conduction etc
∎ Should have knowledge applying PLA/PRA tools in planning, monitoring activities at community level
∎ Understanding of development issues and rural context, specifically WASH and CLTS.
∎ Experience of community mobilization, community situation analysis on development issue preferably on WASH
∎ Reporting and documentation of the respective project.
∎ Good at computer applications of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and using e-mail.
∎ Should have valid driving license and be willing to drive motorcycle.
∎ Fluency on English and Bengali both in writing and spoken, will be added value
∎ Mobilize Local Level Support Structure (DPHE department, Upazila, UPs, other natural leaders, local NGOs etc.) to be more responsive to the needs of the project.
Salary: Tk. 30000 - 32500 (Monthly)
