Job Context:
∎ Environment and Population Research Centre (EPRC) is a multi-disciplinary research, education, development, training and networking non-government institution.
∎ EPRC in partnership with Unicef is going to implement a project title `Provide Technical Assistance to DPHE for Strengthening Community Capacity and Arsenic Mitigation Initiatives to Ensure Drinking Water Safety for All` in Khulna and Barishal Division.
∎ Project Location: Paikgacha Upazila of Khulna District, Keshabpur and Sharsha Upazila of Jessore District, Kotalipara Upazila of Gopalganj District, Alfadanga and Bhanga Upazila of Faridpur District, Damudya Upazila of Shariatpur District, Babuganj Upazila of Barishal District, Nazirpur Upazila of Pirojpur District.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ S/he will be provided support in all aspects of budget, financial reporting, administrative, logistics, communication and procurement.
∎ Maintaining Books of Accounts.
∎ Prepare periodical Financial Report and share with the project team and donor as needed.
∎ Provide support for all types of procurement following organizational guideline, GoB rules and Agreement with donor.
∎ Prepare vouchers for payment and Entry in Ledger/software
∎ Deduct VAT & TAX and deposit government treasury as per GoB rules.
∎ Ensure compliance of financial policies & procedures in all steps.
∎ Banking and preparation of Bank reconciliation on regular basis.
∎ Update the books of accounts on regular basis.
∎ Maintain the financial transaction on daily basis.
∎ Support in maintaining the project materials/equipment, maintaining inventory records, and tracking of procurement
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 45 years
∎ Minimum 3 years practical experience works in similar job
∎ Should have ability to conduct cost analysis.
∎ Should have knowledge on financial operation and management.
∎ Should have knowledge on general administration.
∎ Ability to plan and optimum use of available resources.
∎ Computer skill (word processing, spreadsheet and database). Skill on Tally Software Program will be as an additional computer competency.
∎ Good communication skills in Bangla and in English
Salary: Tk. 25000 - 30000 (Monthly)
