Job Context:
∎ Environment and Population Research Centre (EPRC) is a multi-disciplinary research, education, development, training and networking non-government institution.
∎ EPRC in partnership with Unicef is going to implement a project title `Provide Technical Assistance to DPHE for Strengthening Community Capacity and Arsenic Mitigation Initiatives to Ensure Drinking Water Safety for All` in Khulna and Barishal Division.
∎ Project Location: Paikgacha Upazila of Khulna District, Keshabpur and Sharsha Upazila of Jessore District, Kotalipara Upazila of Gopalganj District, Alfadanga and Bhanga Upazila of Faridpur District, Damudya Upazila of Shariatpur District, Babuganj Upazila of Barishal District, Nazirpur Upazila of Pirojpur District.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Field staff supervision, management overall activities in the field.
∎ Field monitoring, quality control and donor liaison on a day-to-day basis.
∎ Responsible for monitoring field staff activity plan keeping consistency with the project implementation plan.
∎ Responsible for organizing the project orientation workshop for the staffs.
∎ Organize and facilitate the project launching workshop at Upazila and Unions level.
∎ Support to mobilize Local Level Support Structure (DPHE, Upazila coordination committee, UPs, other local level stakeholders etc.) to be more responsive to the needs of the project.
∎ Prepare project reports and send to Donor/Partner as per agreed schedule.
∎ Ensure proper utilization of the agreed budget of the project and prepare financial statement to DONOR
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 50 years
∎ 8 years relevant experience in managing and administering community level WASH /health related projects.
∎ Must have knowledge of project management and implementation, financial management, monitoring, staff supervision & development, networking with local Govt. and other stakeholders;
∎ Have experiences working for training programs, Training module development, workshop conduction etc.
∎ Expected to have knowledge on district, upazila and union level services. Planning for community.
∎ Excellent skill in reporting and documentation, Coordinate, lead and collaborate with partners and other stakeholders for synergy.
∎ Excellent skills using commonly used software MS Word, MS Excel, Power point, internet and email communication
∎ Excellent communication skills in Bangla and in English
∎ Should have valid driving license and be willing to drive motorcycle.
∎ Strong team building capacity and interpersonal skill
∎ Must have quick decision making and problem-solving capability and to meet deadlines.
∎ Note: In case of candidates with more experience; age limit and educational qualification would be relaxed. Women and persons with special needs are equally eligible to apply for the said post.
Salary: Tk. 40000 - 48000 (Monthly)
