∎ Job Summary: Village Education and Resources Center is a non-profit national development organization build a partnership with CARE Bangladesh under USAID`s Women Thrive in Bangladesh Activity program funded by USAID and PVH envisions to economically empower women by creating decent work and ensuring a life of dignity. It specifically aims to enhance skills, leadership and collective action of women workers in RMG and informal sector for greater security of life and livelihoods. Similarly to increase resilience of women workers and their communities to adapt to and recover from COVID-19 related impact on life and essential services and increase responsiveness of institutions to address impact of COVID-19 and gender equality in the world of work. It will reach around 110,100 women in Dhaka, Gazipur, Ashulia, Savar, Narayangonj and Chittagong for creating decent work opportunities.
∎ VERC is looking for a competent Project Manager to provide strategic guidance and leadership support to Thrive Activity for smooth and effective implementation of various project activities in close collaboration with CARE. He/she will ensure the project outcome and output as identified in the work plans and agreements as well as to provide administrative and financial support for smooth and effective utilization of project assign resources. He/she will be supervising and coaching team members to ensure quality implementation and maintain functional liaison with project stakeholders. S/He will spend significant amount of time for monitoring, evaluation and learning along with program implementation, management, facilitation and reporting.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 45 years
∎ 7 years (at least 4 years in development program management/ project coordination, work with garments workers is preferred)
∎ Skills:
∎ Excellent skills using commonly used software MS Word, MS Excel, Power point, internet and email communication
∎ Excellent communication skills in Bangla and in English
∎ Candidate Attitude regarding Gender/PSEA & others policies and Code of conduct of the organization
∎ Note: In case of candidates with more experience; age limit and educational qualification would be relaxed. Women and persons with special needs are equally eligible to apply for the said post.
Salary: Tk. 50000 - 55000 (Monthly)
