Job Context:
∎ POLLISREE is a well reputed national NGO started its work in 1987 and working in 7 Districts of Bangladesh. POLLISREE to implement the Strengthening of resilience and adaptability to climate change in north Bangladesh project in Domar & Dimla Upazila under Nilphamari District which is funded by NETZ-Bangladesh. The project contributes to overcome extreme poverty (SDG-1) and to reducing the vulnerability to the adverse consequences of climate change (SDG-13).
∎ For smooth implement the project POLLISREE is seeking the qualified staffs according to the following conditions.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ The Project Manager will be responsible for overall implementation of the project activities in the working area. S/He will act as the key person to guide the field team. S/He will responsible for planning, budgeting, implementing, and monitoring of the project including management of financial and human resources. S/He needs to ensure that the staffs focus on the capacity development of the target groups in order to achieve both economic & social aspects. S/He will provide regular accompaniment supports to the project staff members in implementation of different events and innovations. He will keep close contact with Pollisree and Donor management. S/He will represent the project as well as organization to different levels of stakeholders/organizations. Knowledge on climate change and resilience would be preferred.
∎ Prepare monthly, quarterly, six-monthly and annual report stating major findings and observations and submit to the respective authority.
∎ Provide accompaniment support to make the team members more confident in order to facilitate different events at community level.
∎ Support the team members to facilitate the self- monitoring process at community level like joint review, grading, socio-economic observatory etc.
∎ Maintain liaison with NGO Affairs Bureau and other governmental officials as well as with donors.
∎ Ensure the policy of financial guideline for procurement of materials and equipment needed for project implementation. Provide oversight for the maintenance and proper use of all kinds of project materials and resources.
∎ Support to external & internal audit teams on financial activities of project.
∎ Conduct the performance appraisal process of the senior staffs and FFs
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 50 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Candidates must be proficient in both verbal and written in English & Bangla.
∎ Candidates must have to be smart, energetic and presentable.
∎ Have learning attitude & interested to work in a diversified environment with honesty, sincerity.
∎ Must have the mentality to work as a team member
∎ Basic Computer knowledge (MS Office Package & Internet)
∎ Have valid motor bike driving license and willingness to move frequently
Salary: Tk. 32000 - 36000 (Monthly)
