∎ The Leprosy Mission International-Bangladesh (TLMI-B) is a member of The Leprosy Mission (TLM) Global Fellowship which is an International Christian faith-based organization, committed to change the lives of persons affected by leprosy. TLMI-B is working in Bangladesh since 1991 as a partner of the Government of Bangladesh to eliminate the cause and consequences of leprosy to achieve its vision "leprosy defeated, lives transformed". Also, it works for the social rehabilitation of people affected by leprosy, disability and social exclusion. Currently, TLMI-B invites applications from the interested and eligible candidates for its `Rural Health
∎ Program` for the following position: Designation: Project Manager-Leprosy Control & Research (1 position), Job Location: Nilphamari .

Job Responsibilities:
∎ The Rural Health Program (RHP) covers four districts in North Bengal (Nilphamari, Rangpur, Thakurgaon and Panchagarh). Leprosy control activities of RHP facilitate and support the field research activities, under the auspices of Leprosy Field Research in Bangladesh Program (LFRB).
∎ This is a senior manager position within RHP, being the lead person for leprosy control activities that includes
∎ case detection, case management, disability management and health systems strengthening.
∎ Responsibilities:
∎ 1. Leprosy Control:
∎ Overall responsibilities to run ' PROYASH' Project smoothly under Rural Health Program in coordination with local health departments of 4 districts.
∎ Plan project activities and budget to ensure the implementation of the plan.
∎ Supervise Data Management system; ensure a performing Laboratory, POD activities, production and supplies of Assistive devices.
∎ Facilitate formulation of concept papers and project proposals.
∎ Establish proper communication and coordination with Govt. Officials, NGO sectors and other TLMI-B
∎ Projects as partners with a view for 'Integration' as per requirement of the project.
∎ Regularly monitors, supervises and assesses project progress against the approved project strategic/operational objectives. Assist and ensure in procurements, storage and timely distribution of drugs, IEC materials, stationeries and other necessary materials used in the project as per rule.
∎ In collaboration with the RHP Program Leader organize mid- term, end-term and impact evaluations
∎ according to TLM evaluation criteria.
∎ 2. Research:
∎ Plan, coordinate and execute assigned research activities in RHP according to study protocol discussing with Research Coordinator.
∎ Ensure that the research ethical standards are met and the research is conducted in accordance with the project timeline.
∎ Execute on research plan adopting research methodologies (depending on project context)
∎ Lead surveys, data collections, sample testing and evaluation to support the research processes.
∎ 3. Administrative:
∎ Responsible for furnishing documents required for NGO Bureau e.g. FD1-6 and annual reports (8 Annexure), annual certificate from local government and reply to the queries from NGO Bureau.
∎ Prepare quality reports as required by the project in timely submission manners.
∎ Ensures proper and effective financial control over project receipts and payment in consultation with the Program Leader andFinance Manager as appropriate.
∎ Maintains proper personnel management systems as per the Human Resource Management Policy.

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 5 years of relevant experience on project management with an NGO/INGO. Research experience is a definite an advantage.
∎ Familiarity with GoB health system.
∎ Sound written and verbal communication skills, fluent in English.
∎ Proficient in MS Office packages (Especially, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Data
∎ Management).
∎ Proven track-record in organizational or project planning, budgeting, work-planning and reporting.

Salary:
∎ Monthly Gross Salary BDT 48,000-50,000 (based on the competencies of the candidate), along with other benefits (such as PF, Gratuity, Annual Festival Allowance, Lunch Allowance, Mobile bill Allowance etc.) as per organizational policy.
