∎ Excellent coordination capacity with individuals, community group representatives, NGOs, WASH officers, and government officials.
∎ Experience in the Promotion of WASH, Hygiene, Nutrition at community level
∎ Knowledge in both host and the humanitarian community.
∎ Excellent spoken skill in Bangla and English and Local language will be appreciable.
∎ Must be ready to work in a multi-cultural environment
∎ Appropriate communication skill and approachable
∎ Must have no history of violation of children rights
∎ Cross-cultural sensitivity, flexible worldview, emotional maturity and physical stamina
∎ Ability to work in and contribute to team building environment

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ The Hygiene Promotion Officer will ensure implementation, monitoring, supervision, health, nutrition, WASH and hygiene promotion in the project catchments in line with Green Workforce project area and strategic programming priorities as defined by the WV Bangladesh Refugee Crisis Response (BRCR) Program.Implementation of Hygiene Promotion activities:
∎ Responsible to implement the Integrated WASH, Nutrition & behavioral change activity in field.
∎ Promote safe WASH, hygienic practices in line with relevant standards and codes of conduct.
∎ Support to develop Health, Nutrition, Safe food cooking methodology/module IEC materials.
∎ Conducted session with Community Leader, producer group, farmers, volunteer Ensure Community Engagement through all the promotional activities.
∎ Train farmers and volunteers and staff on hygiene promotion
∎ Provide the technical guidance for staff on Behavior Change Communication, WASH, Nutrition and Hygiene promotion
∎ Celebrate day observation and promote best practices
∎ Follow up, regular household visit and joint monitoring with project team
∎ Timely stories collection and reportingStaff Management and Capacity Building:
∎ Ensure Capacity Building of the Social and Behavioral change communication on WASH, Nutrition, safe cooking, hygiene to the volunteers for appropriate practices at the community level
∎ Facilitate regular staff meetings to ensure awareness, knowledge & practices of project objectives, and opportunity for feedback.Partnership and Coordination:
∎ Ensure close liaison & consultation with Communities leaders, Imam, Majhi during, Members, chairman to implement of the behavioral change activities.
∎ Coordinate with field staff to ensure that the various aspects of the Integrated response
∎ Prepare monitoring reports and support to coordinate an aspect of field need, sector aspect and camp
