Educational Requirements:
∎ A Diploma in Nursing (4 year course) with valid DNS registration and certification.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for admission and discharge of patients.
∎ Responsible for proper record keeping (e.g. Adm. registers, medicine cards, patients files etc.),
∎ Narcotic register, medicine stock register.
∎ Perform all nursing activities such as bed-baths, injections, medicine distribution, soaking, dressing, removing of stitches etc. according to doctors' instruction.
∎ Teach health education to all patients admitted.
∎ Responsible for ensuring patients are taking foot, hand and eye care as they are supposed to and that they attend physio exercises as instructed.
∎ Surveillance of patients personal hygiene and responsible for order and neatness in the wards and in the Hospital as a whole (e.g. nurse office, medicine cup boards, washing room, dressing room etc).
∎ Attend ward round with Doctors and other Staff.
∎ Request for Lab. examinations, X-rays, Phys. examinations etc. according to doctors' instructions.
∎ Protect admitted patients' interest and work with them in a way that they feel comfortable and accepted.
∎ Attend meetings and teaching sessions and supervise students during practical training period as ordered by authority.
∎ Give proper written report when duty is handed over.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 35 years
∎ Minimum 2 years experience in serving as a Senior Staff Nurse.
∎ Working experience in OT will be given preference.
∎ Age: not exceeding 35 years (might be considered for experienced in Leprosy).
∎ Willing to work in ulcer dressing room for leprosy affected people and perform dressing.
∎ Must be willing to attend emergency duty at any time, according to need.
∎ Must be willing to stay inside the compound if staff quarter is available/ offered.
∎ Ability to work in a team. Excellent coordination and planning skills with experience of working under pressure is required.
∎ A sound understanding and enthusiasm for the leprosy-related works of TLMI-B and a commitment to adhere the values of the organization.

Salary:
∎ Tk. 21000 (Monthly)
∎ Monthly Gross Salary BDT 21,000.00 plus other benefits as per TLMI-B policy.
