Job Context:
∎ Position Reports To: Country Representative
∎ Position supervised: District Managers, FP Coordinator

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Implementation of the project and management support
∎ Communicate the shared vision with the field team to ensure proper implementation of the project in the aim of achieving ultimate program objective
∎ Assist Country Representative in project planning process to ensure development of evidence-based, bottom-up planning in working areas. Ensure the project is implemented in line with the project design as well as approved work plan
∎ Monitor program management indicators and milestones and systems for tracking progress
∎ Support to ensure that partnerships and alliances are consistent with the project framework
∎ Conduct field visits on a regular basis for being updated on the current status of program implementation
∎ Provide necessary support to the field team for ensuring smooth implementation of program activities at field
∎ Responsible to ensure quality and timely reporting from district based project teams
∎ Support to design and implement innovative model/digital App and assist in integrating in to Health System
∎ Provide support to CR to implement HCD pilot intervention at Dhaka Urban
∎ Update program relevant technical knowledge on a regular basis and share within team for their capacity building
∎ In collaboration with the M&E Officer, review quarterly progress reports, MIS data and provide timely feedback to the CR to take managerial decisions
∎ Coordination for smooth operation of project activities
∎ Coordinate with the all team members for smooth programmatic implementation at the district level
∎ Coordinate with the project team and Finance and Administration to facilitate timely support in procurement, logistics, IT and other administrative and management support to the project level staff when required
∎ In collaboration with the CR, coordinate with Jhpiego HQ team (program and technical staff) for implementation of activities
∎ Identify any challenges and bottlenecks and flag issues for action by the CR
∎ Support the documentation and reporting requirement for donor compliance
∎ Follow up with the district teams to ensure timely and quality reporting of all reports.
∎ General
∎ Implement plans for organizational capacity development for supervised staff
∎ Attend district and divisional level program review meetings
∎ Participate in meetings, trainings, seminars, and workshops as per need of the project and represent the organization
∎ Contribute to project level reporting and documentation efforts
∎ Participate in the GO/NGO coordination meetings at different levels as per need
∎ Prepare Case study/report/presentation as per need of the project

Additional Requirements:
∎ 7+ years mid to senior level experience in managing large, complex health projects in developing countries
∎ Technical understanding of FP/PPFP related issues and experience working in this technical area
∎ Ability to work in a complex environment with multiple tasks, short deadlines and intense pressure to perform
∎ Ability to coordinate information and logistics for project activities
∎ Strong program and financial management skills
∎ Strong project management knowledge including application of traditional project management principles in development project context
∎ Experience in designing and implementing projects with multi-level funding and technical areas
∎ Proven depth and breadth of technical and management expertise and experience
∎ Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel software
∎ Ability to travel field 40% of the time
∎ Fluent in written and spoken English and Bangla
