Educational Requirements:
∎ Master's degree in Agriculture, Business, Market Development or Forestry from any university or equivalent.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure strategic orientation of the team and partners towards to goals and objectives of the project.
∎ Guide the team and partners on processes and intervention approaches.
∎ Ensure that the project remains relevant within the changing context and provide advice on any changes required during the duration of the project.
∎ Steer the team and when needed, take corrective measures.
∎ Connect with HSI Advisory services experts for strategic advice and support.
∎ Support the team and local partners to ensure good quality project implementation as per time, work plan and logframe.
∎ Manage and ensure sound financial and administrative processes in project including in collaboration with the Finance and Administration unit.
∎ Ensure regular activity planning and team coordination meetings.
∎ Provide timely monthly narrative and financial reports and other reports as required by donors.
∎ Ensure M&E system is in place and data are collected efficiently and effectively in a timely manner for reporting.
∎ Ensure good relations with key stakeholders from CSOs, Govt, private sector, financial sector service providers and communities.
∎ Ensure smooth and efficient communication with local partner(s), support a partnership approach.
∎ Support capacity building of our local partner(s) to strengthen them in their implementation.
∎ Represent Helvetas in the Food Security Cluster and any other relevant sector.
∎ Build up good relationship with CiC, RRRC, DC office and other INGOs in the same sector.
∎ Look for more donors, funding opportunities, and partnerships with UN agencies.
∎ Provide technical support to HSI staff and partner organization staff.
∎ Provide support to project team and partners for Monitoring and Evaluation.
∎ Develop a new concept paper and proposal for a livelihood program.
∎ Capture lesson learns and best practices from the project and document them and share to others for learning purpose.
∎ Support project team in exchanging knowledge and learning also take lead for experience capitalization of project.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Knowledge of development and humanitarian context and skill development and/or Livelihood program implementation in host community at Cox's Bazar.
∎ Minimum 5 years' experience working in market development, value chain development, income generation, Livelihood, and Food security, and skill development project
∎ Having experience on development of concepts, approaches, strategies and guidelines in relation to value chain development, entrepreneurship development, and skills development;
∎ Having practical experience of engagement public and private sector including financial sector service providers in specific value chain development and skill development interventions;
∎ Having practical experience on development of innovations in the areas technology promotion, market access/new market opportunity, private sector engagement etc.
∎ Experience and knowledge on project management, proposal writing, and media communication.
∎ Strong experience and skills on people management and stress-management.
∎ Professional level in MS Office package
∎ Fluent in English, Bengali native speaker, Chittagonian desirable

Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ 12 months national employment contract with salary range BDT. 150,000/- to BDT. 170,000/- including all benefits (PF, Gratuity, Festival Bonus, Insurance and others as per HR policy). Based on fund availability and individual performance, the contract would be extended.
