Job Context:
∎ VERC in partnership with MJF is going to implement the Strengthening civil socity and public institutions to build community resilience to adopt climate change in Rangabali upazilas under Patuakhali district. Recruitment against the following project position will be made for implementation of Project intervention.
∎ Based at Rangabali
Job Responsibilities:
∎ This position of Union Facilitators is the part of field implementation and will be directly reportable to Project Officer. Each Union Facilitator will be responsible to provide assistance to the PO and PC for advocacy with Union Parishad.
∎ Ensure proper communication and linkage with theamong the groups under the assigned union. However Project Coordinator will also monitor the activities of Project Facilitator and will directly instruct along with Project Officer. This position is based at Union level.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 40 years
∎ Should have clear understanding on Community Situation Analysis (CSA) process.
∎ Ensure community participation in planning and implementation of the project;
∎ Capacity building of the community, disaster volunteer and other stakeholders at union level in line with sustainability;
∎ Should be familiar with community planning and preparing CAP using PRA/PLA tools
∎ Should have experience in community level training facilitation and communication
∎ Should have knowledge and capacity for organizing community level different awareness campaigns like folksong, day observation, workshops etc.
∎ Experience in working at the remote coastal area will be prefered for the position.
Salary:
∎ Monthly salary range Tk. 17,000.00-19,292.00
