Educational Requirements:
∎ Diploma in Civil
∎ Diploma in Civil Engineering/Equivalents.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 3 to 4 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ The Field Engineer is responsible for designing and drawing, prepare budget for facilities, developing BoQ, planning and managing Urban/Peri-Urban small-scale infrastructure, installation of WASH facilities, proper operation and maintenance.
∎ Assist in planning and organizing project hardware intervention, guide project staff and community on hardware implementation.
∎ lead all aspects of implementation of structural activities.
∎ Facilitate technical sessions for community and institutional level
∎ Ensure quality of structural work as per project requirements as well as water quality and environmental issues related to hardware installation.
∎ Ensure health and safety issues during construction of facilities
∎ Ensure climate resilient technology, MHM, equity and inclusion with quality of materials and workmanship.
∎ Ensure water quality tests following WaterAid GL
∎ Assist project team in planning and implementation of the project activities with due procedure.
∎ Liaison with DPHE/Municipality, water quality Lab, LGIs, ITN BUET and WaterAid Bangladesh focal as per need.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 40 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ With minimum 3-4 years work experience of which 2 years' experience in similar works.
∎ Good reporting skill in English and verbal & written communication with the donors and other agency.
∎ Excellent skills using commonly used software Auto CAD, MS Word, MS Excel, internet and email communication.
∎ Field level monitoring skill.
∎ Excellent communications skills.
∎ Works well under stress and meet deadlines
∎ Able to work and solve problems independently
∎ Should have valid driving license and be willing to drive motorcycles.
∎ Must have quick decision making and problem-solving capability.
∎ Candidate should have positive attitude regarding Gender/PSEA, Child Safe Guarding and Code of Conduct.
∎ VERC authority reserves the right to accept/reject any applications without assigning any reason. Only shortlisted candidates will be invited to appear for the examination.
∎ Note: In case of candidates with more experience; age limit and educational qualification would be relaxed. Women and persons with special needs are equally eligible to apply for the said post.
Salary:
∎ Tk. 42000 - 45000 (Monthly)
