Job Context:

Meghna Hotel and Resorts Limited (MHRL), a concern of Meghna Group of Industries (MGI) is going to build a country-leading Five Star Hotel & Resorts and Commercial Building with aesthetic and state-of-the-art facilities in the heart of Dhaka City, Bangladesh. As the Project Engineer, the incumbent will play a pivotal role in overseeing all aspects of the construction process, from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to the highest standards of quality, safety, and timeliness. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a visionary project that will leave a lasting impact on Dhaka`s skyline and hospitality landscape. The position will report to the Project Manager of MHRL.

Job Responsibilities:

• Supervise and monitor the construction work of projects, ensuring progress aligns with design and drawing specifications.

• Prepare Purchase Requisitions (PR) and Material Receiving Reports (MRR) to facilitate seamless procurement processes.

• Oversee all aspects of construction and maintenance work, focusing primarily on RCC (Reinforced Cement Concrete) structures.

• Manage and evaluate the performance of workers and contractors, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards.

• Maintain accurate inventory records of building materials at the factory site to prevent delays and optimize resource allocation.

• Maintain and update Measurement Books (MB) and Bills of Quantity (BOQ) for ongoing infrastructure projects.

• Conduct site investigations, analyze data from various sources, and make informed recommendations for project implementation.

• Ensure quality work is delivered within scheduled timeframes, meeting or exceeding industry standards and client expectations.

• Implement and enforce proper housekeeping and safety protocols in the project premises to safeguard personnel and assets.

• Prepare comprehensive reports based on project progress and performance metrics.
