Experience:

• 8+ years of experience with progressively increasing responsibilities and duties in programs focused on organizational development in the Bangladeshi context

  Proven experience managing operational components on large, complex donor-funded projects (with strong preference for past USAID-funded project management experience).

  KNOWLEDGE: Knowledge of USAID policies and procedures (Cost Principles and Uniform Guidance) as related to project management preferred Leadership and communication skills to manage across teams in challenging contexts Strong interpersonal skills to work cooperatively with teams, local counterparts, donors, and other stakeholders to achieve results Fluency in Bangla and working written and oral proficiency in English are required·         Climate Change and Climate Resilient Intervention·         Adaptation, Mitigation and Resilience·         Project Management·         Donor liaison and coordination 

  SKILLS:•    Computer Literacy (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)•    Excellent speaking and writing skills both in Bangla and English•    Proposal and report writing•     Networking skills

Friends in Village Development Bangladesh (FIVDB) is going to implement the "Community-led Climate Smart Innovations to Address Climate Change Impacts (Uddom) Project` in Derai Upazila under Sunamgonj district in partnership with BRAC. The present project tenure is 5 years. We have initially recruited staff up to 26 May 2026 with the expectation of extending this period.

1. The Project Coordinator will be overall responsible for the project and its effective management including planning, supervision, monitoring, evaluation, strategic discussions and issue-based decision making.
2. The project coordinator will manage the overall project implementation and meets the donors’ compliance.
3. Overall Responsible for smooth and effective implementation of the Project within the set objectives and given framework in the Project working area.
4. Providing Training/Orientation/Refreshers to the programme participants.
5. Dissemination of agricultural technologies to the farmer’s field.
6. Programme participants selection according to the criteria.
7. Preparation of crop cut and cost benefit reports and other project reports.
8. Perform awareness raising and capacity building activities Distribution of agriculture inputs and materials for climate adaptive agricultural activities.
9. Implementation of different project interventions in the project area based on local suitability and evaluation of the intervention in contrast of climate-smart.
10. Responsible for analyzing the local climatic and agricultural information required by the project to identify the local climate change challenges.
11. Responsible for climatic impact assessment and climate risk analysis on agriculture and framing.
12. Ensure close communication with local government and administration and support activity planning on the related authorities. 
13. Ensure active participation in local-level planning and execution.Responsible for preparing monthly, periodic, and need-based reports.
14. Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme`s goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
15. Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
16. Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, and encourage others to do so.
17. The employee will be ready to perform the tasks assigned by organization for the greater interest of the organization and the community even if those tasks are not mentioned in the above role and responsibilities.   
18. S/he will report to the organizational Project Focal, FIVDB Uddom Project.
