Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc)
∎ Civil Engineering from UGC approved university.
∎ Must have good English writing, analytical, communication, and report writing skills.
∎ Excellent knowledge of computer usage specially in AutoCAD, MS Office, Outlook, and other softwareMust have good English writing, analytical, communication, and report writing skills.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Programmatic Responsibilities:
∎ S/he will coordinate and support project team for effective implementation of all activities according to the work plan of DMDP project in working areas.
∎ S/he will provide support and coordinate with DMDP project field personnel through monthly progress review meeting of field activities.
∎ S/he will supervise construction works of waste treatment plants at Faridpur and Satkhira.
∎ S/he will participate in designing of civil works, earth filling, electro-mechanical design of waste treatment plant and draw in AutoCad platform if required.
∎ S/he will check the workmanship at every stage of work following the checklist and quality guidelines and ensure the right quality of work.
∎ S/he will to estimate and prepare the schedule for construction works including procurement plan.
∎ S/he will study the drawings, electro-mechanical equipments and prcess/methods of waste treatment plants and construction documents and prepare construction schedule and daily activity plan.
∎ S/he will prepare drawings in AutoCad professionally to submit to governmental appropriate authority for Plan approval.
∎ S/he will support environmental consultant by providing relevant documents for applying environmental clearance and other legal permits as required by governmental authorities.
∎ S/he will ensure the construction progress according to construction schedule.
∎ S/he will keep record of change/modification and maintain documentation.
∎ S/he will take measurement of completed works and keep record in the Measurement Book.
∎ S/he will comply with the safety guidelines and monitor site safety and safety of workers. S/he will take preventive measure against any potential hazard.
∎ S/he will check and certify contractors' bills.
∎ S/he will check material consumption and control wastage.
∎ S/he will facilitate associate support from local stakeholders to necessary approval to build/install and construction work of the waste treatment plants at the respective lands.
∎ S/he will coordinate in establishing the system to ensure the raw materials (Solid Waste, Faecal Waste, and Plastic Waste) supply at the plant.
∎ S/he will build rapport and professional relation with the relevant district chapter of District Administration, DPHE, LGED, DAE, DoE, Local government, Civil society, Private organizations, and Individuals.
∎ S/he will support in formation and/or reformation and up-gradation of waste worker’s cooperatives, contracting and linkage with LGIs for service delivery, and coordinate with cooperatives for business development.
∎ S/he will coordinate the project’s all activities in the work areas throughout the whole project cycle (identification and formulation, preparation of agreements and contracts, follow up of implementation, monitoring, evaluation, and dissemination of results) at the local level.
∎ S/he will monitor project progress and quality; and report on the project as a core part of continuous learning throughout the project lifetime.
∎ S/he will maintain coordination with other NGOs/organizations and stakeholders linking with other development projects with Municipality emphasis on waste management.
∎ S/he will maintain close linkages with slum dwellers, low-income urban communities to ensure effective and equitable service system.
∎ S/he will extend the support and closely coordinate with the partners to ensure for achieving the target as a result of the projects.
∎ S/he will travel frequently for project implementation at both working areas and other cities.
∎ Administrative Responsibilities:
∎ S/he will support in organisational administrative works at the local level in coordination with country office people and culture department, finance department, and general support service department.
∎ S/he will be responsible for effective financial management by organisational policies at the local level.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in construction sector/ development sector focused with design and construction experience of building, large scale WASH facilities, recycling plant facilities, etc. Sound knowledge of municipal working mechanisms and dealing with LGI and governmental representatives.
∎ Female candidates are encouraged to apply.
∎ Experience in waste management works along with a sustainable business.
∎ Experience to work with sanitation workers and process to transform informal sanitation workers in to formal groups will be an advantage but not mandatory.
∎ Familiar with social business especially in waste management and coaching/mentoring sanitation workers towards engaging in the business will be an advantage but not mandatory.
∎ Experience in administrative works and local office management
∎ Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and to set priorities.
∎ Good ability to work with a multicultural team.
∎ Willing and able to travel independently outside the station.
∎ Excellent facilitation, coordination, team management, reporting, and presentation skill.

Salary: Tk. 80000 - 90000 (Monthly)
