Job Context
Protibondhi Community Centre (PCC) invites applications from qualified Bangladeshi nationals for the following positions to be implemented by PCC project titled “Initiatives to Ensure a Better Life for Children and Youth with Disabilities” in Mymensingh.
Background
Protibondhi Community Center is implementing health and rehabilitation services for marginalized and vulnerable communities. To strengthen our rehabilitation support, we invite applications from qualified and committed candidates for the position of Project Coordinator.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive physical and functional assessments of children with disabilities, including developmental delays, cerebral palsy, autism, orthopedic and neurological conditions
Develop and implement individualized physiotherapy and rehabilitation plans based on each child’s needs and abilities
Provide regular physiotherapy sessions focusing on mobility, posture, balance, strength, and coordination
Support early identification and early intervention for children with developmental and physical impairments
Train parents and caregivers on home-based exercises, positioning, and daily care techniques
Monitor child progress regularly and adjust treatment plans accordingly
Maintain accurate child case files, assessment records, and progress reports
Participate in school-based and community-based rehabilitation activities
Ensure child safeguarding, child-friendly practices, and respect for the dignity and rights of children with disabilities
Support awareness sessions for parents and community members on disability inclusion and prevention
Contribute to monthly, quarterly, and annual program reports as required by the organization and donors
Identify vocational skills needs of target beneficiaries through surveys, consultations, and market analysis.
Ensure training topics are aligned with local labor market demand and income-generating opportunities.
Develop a detailed vocational training plan, including objectives, duration, curriculum, and expected outcomes.
Prepare training schedules ensuring participation of target groups (youth, women, persons with disabilities, etc.).
Identify, select, and coordinate with accredited vocational training institutes, trainers, and resource persons.
Ensure trainers have relevant technical expertise and experience with community-based training.
Prepare training budgets and ensure cost-effective use of project funds.
Coordinate procurement of training materials, tools, and equipment in line with organizational policies.
Develop transparent criteria for participant selection.
Mobilize and register eligible beneficiaries in coordination with community leaders and project staff.
Ensure training sessions are conducted as per approved plan, quality standards, and safeguarding guidelines.
Monitor attendance, participation, and performance of trainees.
Collect feedback from participants and trainers to improve training quality.
Ensure inclusion of marginalized groups, including persons with disabilities.
Maintain a safe, accessible, and gender-sensitive training environment.
Facilitate certification of trainees upon successful completion of training.
Establish linkages with employers, markets, cooperatives, or microfinance institutions for job placement or self-employment.
Prepare progress reports, training completion reports, and success stories.
Coordinate with local government, community committees, NGOs, and donors related to vocational training activities.
Represent the project in meetings related to skills development and employment.
