Experience:
Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics or related field.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in managing livelihood, savings, or income generation projects with NGOs/INGOs.
Proven experience in group formation, microfinance, savings and credit programs, and enterprise development.
Strong knowledge of community mobilization, participatory planning, and market systems development.
Excellent skills in team leadership, coordination, and communication.
Strong report writing, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and financial documentation.
Willingness to travel frequently to field sites and work closely with marginalized communities.
Commitment to transparency, accountability, inclusion, and human dignity.

Equal Rights & Economic Dignity for Marginalized Community in Mymensingh (EREDMCM) Project, Protibondhi Community Center

Job Context: Protibondhi Community Center (PCC) is seeking applications from qualified Bangladeshi candidates for the Coordinator position under the PCC-EREDMCM Project, funded by CSI-Luxembourg. The project titled “Equal Rights and Economic Dignity for Marginalized Communities in Mymensingh” aims to promote social inclusion, inclusive education, economic empowerment, and equal opportunities for marginalized groups in the Mymensingh region. This is 3 years project and have possibility of renewal.
Position Summary
Coordinator position will be responsible for leading and managing all project activities related to income generation, savings collection, and group formation under the PCC-EREDMCM project. The position will oversee planning, implementation, and monitoring of self-help groups (SHGs), ensure effective savings mobilization, promote entrepreneurship development, and facilitate linkages with local markets and financial institutions. The Coordinator will also ensure timely reporting, staff supervision, and compliance with donor and organizational guidelines.
Key Responsibilities of the Coordinator
Project Planning and Implementation
Lead the overall planning, coordination, and implementation of income generation and savings group activities in the project area.
Facilitate the formation, capacity building, and strengthening of Self-Help Groups (SHGs), producer groups, and community-based organizations.
Supervise field facilitators to ensure regular savings collection, record keeping, and group-level financial management.
Develop and implement strategies for enterprise development, livelihood diversification, and market linkage for group members.
Ensure effective utilization and accountability of revolving funds, IGA loans, and savings mobilization schemes.
Coordinate with the Project Accountant to maintain transparent financial transactions related to savings and IGA activities.
Provide technical guidance to field teams and group members on bookkeeping, small business management, and financial literacy.
Monitoring, Evaluation, and Reporting
Conduct regular field monitoring visits to assess progress, identify challenges, and provide on-site support.
Monitor project progress against milestones and deadlines, taking timely action to resolve emerging issues.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual progress reports, ensuring timely submission to project management and donors.
Document best practices, lessons learned, and success stories for organizational learning and scaling up.
Networking with different Stakeholder Coordination and Representation
Collaborate with local government, NGOs, and private sector actors to promote market access and financial inclusion for marginalized communities.
Maintain effective communication with stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of project goals, progress, and challenges.
Team Leadership and Management
Assemble and lead project teams; assign tasks and responsibilities effectively.
Provide ongoing guidance, motivation, and capacity building to subordinate.
Foster a collaborative team environment and manage conflicts constructively.
Assist Financial and Resource Management
Support the development and monitoring of project budgets in coordination with finance staff.
Assist to Monitor expenditures to ensure compliance with financial policies and budget limits.
Risk Management and Safeguarding
Identify potential project and operational risks and develop risk mitigation strategies.
Implement and monitor safeguarding measures to protect team members and beneficiaries from harm, abuse, or exploitation.
Act as a focal person for safeguarding and ethical compliance, ensuring a safe working environment.
Closure and Evaluation
Oversee the completion and acceptance of all project deliverables by stakeholders.
Conduct post-project reviews and evaluations to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.
Archive key documents and share learnings within the organization.
Additional Responsibilities
Contribute to project proposal writing and resource mobilization efforts.
Perform other tasks assigned by the supervisor as required for effective project implementation
