Job Context

Protibondhi Community Centre (PCC) invites applications from qualified Bangladeshi nationals for the following positions to be implemented by PCC project titled “Initiatives to Ensure a Better Life for Children and Youth with Disabilities” in Mymensingh.

Background

Protibondhi Community Center is implementing health and rehabilitation services for marginalized and vulnerable communities. To strengthen our rehabilitation support, we invite applications from qualified and committed candidates for the position of Project Coordinator.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess children with disabilities and provide individualized physiotherapy, rehabilitation, and early intervention in Daycare center.

  • Ensure capacity of Caregiver on ADL and keep record on child progress

  • Arrange skill development training to youth with disabilities as per targeted activity.

  • Plan, budget, and coordinate for skill development training with qualified institutes and trainers

  • Select and mobilize beneficiaries, ensure inclusive and safe training environments

  • Monitor training quality, attendance, and performance; facilitate certification

  • Link trainees to employment/self-employment opportunities and report on outcomes

  • Coordinate with local authorities, NGOs, and donors; represent the project in relevant meetings

  • Establish linkages with employers, markets, for job placement or self-employment.

  • Ensure Income generating opportunities for youth with disabilities

  • Ensure inclusion of children and youth with disability in the community.

  • Ensure child safeguarding, child-friendly practices, and respect for the dignity and rights of children with disabilities
