∎ Relationships: Multi-level stakeholders including alliance members, municipalities, private enterprises, sanitation and waste workers, local partners, DPHE, local administration and public departments, project management, other units

∎ Nature of contract: Regular

∎ Travel: Regular travel to project locations in Satkhira, Barguna districts and other parts of Bangladesh as needed
∎ About the Role:
∎ Based in Dhaka, the "Project Coordinator" is responsible for managing the implementing single or multiple projects on WASH, Waste Management and Urban Services in different municipalities along with other relevant initiatives in close collaboration with different internal units and multiple stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Manage awards from different donors by ensuring committed deliverables on time with efficient financial management
∎ Manage and supervise project teams working at different municipalities
∎ Manage contracts with implementing partners and their staff at different levels to ensure their deliverables
∎ Maintain liaisons with other alliance partners and represent Practical Action in coordination meetings where active role is required for making important decisions regarding the project
∎ Coordinate municipal level project implementation process in close collaboration with municipal representatives and staff
∎ Track project expenditure against respective deliverables and manage budget
∎ Build rapport and professional relation with the relevant GoB, local alliances, NGO, Local Government, Civil Society, Private Organizations, and Individuals
∎ Prepare reports to meet the donor compliances and organisational need
∎ Conduct regular follow up and monitoring of the activities to track the progress by ensuring quality

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in the development sector (preferably in WASH/urban sanitation/waste management);
∎ Excellent facilitation, coordination, team management, reporting and presentation skill;
∎ Ability to work and lead a multi-cultural team and meeting deadlines;
∎ Fluency in English language and proficiency in computer application;

Salary:
∎ Monthly Gross BDT 80,000 to BDT 88,000.
