Job Context:
∎ GRAUS is going to implement an anticipated six months project named `Integrated response to COVID-19 crisis through healthcare, WASH and protection programs`` with the support of Save the Children International in Lama and Alikadom Upazilas of Bandarban Hill District. GRAUS intends to hire a competent, experienced and qualified Project Coordinator (PC) to lead this project. The position confirmation subjected to the donor approval and availability of funding.
∎ Base Office : Lama/Alikadom
∎ Work Place : Lama and Alikadom Upazila
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Lead and guide a large professional team for effective implementation of 'Integrated response to COVID-19 crisis through healthcare, WASH and protection programs'.
∎ Prepare project Implementation Plan (PIP) with reflecting pathway to achieve time bound indicators leading to achieve project objectives;
∎ Lead the process of assessing the existing healthcare facilities and preparedness to respond to COVID19 in coordination with local administration, Health and Family Planning Department
∎ Facilitate home based care for patients with mild to moderate symptoms of COVID-19 through functional referral mechanism and mobilisation of Mobile Medical Units (MMUs)
∎ Manage activities to ensure the best hygiene and sanitation practices along with installation of hand-washing stations at public areas
∎ Distribution of tasks to all staff according to job portfolio and necessary logistics necessary to perform vested duties and responsibilities;
∎ Ensure quality of project activities through establishing monitoring mechanism including supportive supervisory systems, project performance tracking system and produce monthly and quarterly reports;
∎ Work closely with the relevant government functionaries, District and Upazila MOHFW Offices, local government bodies, Hill Council, DPHE and other implementing organisation and make effective coordination for planning, implementation and monitoring.
∎ Represent at district/sub-district level relevant forums and share project information and best practices
∎ Manage project budget and ensure value for money
∎ Prepare donor repots as necessary
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 45 years
∎ At least 7 years management experiences in public health project. Similar experience in Community Health Care, WASH and child protection projects/programs will get preference.
∎ Experience in working closely with government functionaries, local government institutions and private and non-government organizations.
∎ Proven skills in project management, team management, HR management, administration and financial and budget management.
∎ Ability to manage a complex and diverse workload.
∎ Ability to contribute to develop a proactive team, working collaboratively with colleagues and support as necessary.
∎ Computer skills: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, email and web browsing.
∎ Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
∎ Written and verbal skills in both Bengali and English.
∎ Working experience with CHT local communities will be considered as suitability of the candidature.
∎ Age will be relaxed for experienced candidates.
Salary: Tk. 75000 (Monthly)
