Educational Requirements:
∎ Minimum Master’s Degree with at least 8 years’ Managerial experience in international donor supported project management in the field of Human Rights/livelihood/food security, community development or other relevant development area.

Job Context:
∎ Eco-Social Development Organization (ESDO) started its journey in 1988 with a noble vision to stand in solidarity with the poor and marginalized. Being a peoples` centered organization, ESDO envisioned for a society which will be free from inequality and injustice, a society where no child will cry from hunger and no life will be ruined by poverty. Near about three decades of relentless efforts to make this happen, ESDO has embraced new grounds and opened up new horizons to help the disadvantaged and vulnerable people to bring meaningful and lasting changes in their lives. During this long span, ESDO has adapted with the changing situation and provided the most time-bound services especially for the poor and disadvantaged. A community focused and people centered approach has been adapted by ESDO while consideration was given to the national policy and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as its guiding principle. ESDO is one of the most dynamic organizations expanding its development interventions across 273 upazilas under 49 districts of Bangladesh covering over 10 million poor and vulnerable people.
∎ As partnership with HEKS/EPER, ESDO is implementing the Resilience to Economic Volatility of Indigenous and Vulnerable populations through Empowerment (REVIVE) Project in Thakurgaon & Dinajpur District. ESDO is inviting applications from interested qualified candidates for the position.
∎ Initially one year and possibility of renewal for one subsequent year subject to satisfactory performance and availability off fund. The Head/Focal person of ESDO and dotted matrix responsibility to HEKS/EPER office-based Project Manager-REVIVE.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Project Management
∎ Lead in preparation of action plan (Programmatic and financial), supervise and manage quality implementation of the same throughout the project tenure.
∎ Maintain close communication with the management of the organization, HEKS/EPER and meet donor requirements to attain project goal.
∎ Ensure that, C-19 protocol and CRM are properly followed at all stages of project implementation.
∎ Ensure that, relevant of policies and compliances are maintained as and when applicable, at every stage of the project implementation
∎ Monthly staff coordination meeting, review progress, analyze backlog and planning for future accordingly
∎ Maintain organizational and project related confidentiality
∎ Supervision and Monitoring
∎ Day to day supervision of PO, UzO and provide them guidance support
∎ Frequent field visit to ensure high quality and responsive delivery of results for its impact
∎ Conduct sample basis quantitative and qualitative monitoring of project activities
∎ Responsible for initiating post distribution monitoring of all types of supports under the project.
∎ Ensure proper and quality documentation of project interventions
∎ Monitor preservation of Digital copies and Hard copies (as applicable) of project documents including- ProDoc, Contract/Agreement, policy, manual, guidelines, bill-voucher, procurement documents, muster roll, reports, AV productions and other relevant materials
∎ Assist HEKS/EPER office-based Project Manager through providing necessary information whenever necessary
∎ HR Management and Capacity Building
∎ Responsible for Management of entire project staff team
∎ Provide formal and informal Mentoring support to the team members for their professional capacity building
∎ Implementation of staff capacity building activities(training/workshop) designed under the project in coordination with Project Manager- REVIVE
∎ Facilitate staff or beneficiary training/meeting/workshop
∎ Facilitate Coordination meeting among partners of REVIVE project
∎ Share leanings and experience with staff team after participating any training/workshop/exchange visit or like other events
∎ Staff appraisal & provide feedback for improvement
∎ Ensure gender friendly environment at the office and community level
∎ Financial Management
∎ Prepare financial plan according to approved budget and supervise its implementation
∎ Supervise and guide Finance and Admin Officer
∎ Ensure maintaining of all sorts of compliance through supervision of Finance staff
∎ Ensure proper management and budgetary control and supervise both financial and physical (vehicle, machine, equipment and other) resources management of the project
∎ Ensure monthly monitoring of project budget utilization
∎ Ensure timely quality financial reports for donors and senior management on project outcomes
∎ Coordination, Linkage and Communication
∎ Regular communication with organizational higher management and HEKS/EPER counterparts
∎ Coordination and linkage with government department, LGIs, local administration, civil society (human rights and cultural activists/institutions, media, social /traditional leaders etc.) and other stakeholders
∎ Participate in District NGO coordination meeting arranged by government and ensure uploading project report in DC office’s NGO portal (where applicable)
∎ Coordination with field staff team, project beneficiaries and relevant stakeholders
∎ Networking/coordination with relevant stakeholders
∎ Reporting and documentation
∎ Prepare monthly/quarterly/six-monthly/annual quality reports of the project and timely submit to the authorities
∎ Produce quality event report of training, seminar, workshop, donor visit, MSC and other event and submit to the counterparts
∎ Prepare regular field visit report with constructive feedback for improvement and share the same with team members
∎ Ensure publication & documentation of the project activities

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 42 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Must have 05 years experience as project chief in- financial and human resource management, leading team, working under pressure and timely completion of deliverables.
∎ Working experience with Ethnic Minority, Dalit, Youths and person with disability and other marginalized communities will be considered as an advantage in favor of candidature.
∎ Candidate must have analytical skill
∎ S/he will have report writing skill both in Bengali and English
∎ Must have attractive presentation and facilitation skills.
∎ Willing to drive motorcycle and should have valid driving license.
∎ Must have a valid motorcycle driving license
∎ Skill in MS word, excel, PowerPoint, internet browsing is mandatory.
∎ Carryout any other responsibilities given by the project HEKS/EPER, or organizational management related to the job
∎ HEKS/EPER or ESDO Management may revise the job description as and when feel necessary to do so

Salary:
∎ Monthly Consolidated salary BDT. 55,000/-
