Responsibilities & Context:

Responsible for:

  • Provides administrative and operational support on the implementation of the project;

  • Assist in project financial resources management, human resources management, efficient procurement and logistical services;

  • Responsible to work independently and solving operational problems confidently

  • Responsible for developing better relationships with project staff and updating the daily project activities on time

  • Follow up, daily, with project partners and donors, to guarantee smooth implementation of administrative and operational activities of the project;

  • Maintain up-to-date files and records of project documentation

  • Provide logistical support for workshops and other meetings

  • Builds strong relationships with clients, focuses on impact and results for the client, and responds positively to feedback.

Activities:

  •  Provide technical expertise in project design and implementation 

  • Prepare strategic planning documents for the respective part of the project operations

  • Ensure proper teamwork, consultation and communication, and innovation by project team members.

  • Coordinate with fellow team members working on other projects at the head office and the field offices of Friendship.

  • Contribute to baseline and end-line assessment surveys and analyses of the overall status of the selected project areas.

  • Prepare different reports as per donors and organization’s requirements.

  • Contribute to/edit reports, manuals, guidelines, and other specialized publications as they relate to animal production, protection, good farming/livestock practices, or fisheries operations.

  • Investigating, planning, and implementing management procedures to cope with the effects of fires, floods, droughts, soil erosion, insect pests, and diseases

  • Maintain good coordination with the GoB officials, local govt, and public representatives.

  • Keep good relations with other Friendship departments and CSUs like procurement, finance, admin, ID, etc.

  • Ability to frequently conduct field visits in the climate-vulnerable Friendship working areas, as programme requires

  • Any tasks assigned by Friendship Management
