Job Context:
∎ Bangladesh Protibandhi Kallyan Somity (BPKS) was established in 1985. BPKS is a non-government, non-political voluntary organization of persons with disabilities (PWDs) of all types, working to ensure the equal rights, opportunities and mainstreaming of disabled persons into the development process so they can contribute as a citizen equal to all. BPKS`s vision is that all persons with disability live independently, with dignity, in a barrier-free family and community and are equally contributive to their own and society`s development.
∎ BPKS is call for applications from qualified professionals and experienced persons who wish to be considered for appointment in full-time position of Project Coordinator of BPKS. The work place at BPKS Complex, 17 Hatimbag, Protibandhi Office Road, Dakkhinkhan, Dhaka-1230.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop/ design project implementation, monitoring plans, develop different tools, education and training materials and case study based on requirement of project.
∎ Writing project proposal and related documents.
∎ Identify and specify target beneficiaries, conduct their need assessment based on project activities and their types of disability, situations and socio-economic circumstances.
∎ Develop update information report on Covid19, organize and facilitate knowledge building training for leaders/professionals with disabilities on Covid19.
∎ Organize national seminar/conference and coordination meeting
∎ Arrange visit program as per need of management of the project
∎ Prepare events, monthly monitoring, progress and final reports of the project.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 50 years
∎ Have self-confidence, independent capacity to take initiatives, good communication skills, interpersonal and organizational skills and have sense of integrity, responsibility and computer literate.
∎ Have strong management experience, writing documents and planning projects.
∎ Have solid understanding of the principals of Project Cycle.
∎ Have understanding of research work.
∎ Have at least 10 years of work experiences in development field, program management and planning.
∎ Have update knowledge about Bangladesh development and information and data such as: SDG progress, UNCRPD, Covid19 and other statistics.
∎ Have solid understanding of monitoring theory and practice in effective project management.
∎ Have capacity and knowledge to facilitate and conduct training
∎ Have capacity to share knowledge and skills and build the capacity of others.
∎ Have excellent knowledge in English writing and communication.
∎ Have commitment to work under-pressure for the organization.

Salary:
∎ Maximum BDT 60 thousand (including all)
