Educational Requirements:
∎ A university degree in a relevant discipline/planning/development such as: International Development, Studies on Persons with Disability, Human Rights, Social Science/Development Studies/Business Studies or any other associate degree.
Job Context:
∎ Bangladesh Protibandhi Kallyan Somity (BPKS) established in 1985. BPKS is a non-government, non-political voluntary Organization of Persons with Disabilities (OPD) of all types, working to ensure the equal rights, opportunities and mainstreaming of Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) into the development process. BPKS`s vision, all persons with disability live independently, with dignity, in a barrier-free family and community and are equally contributive to their own and society`s development.

∎ BPKS is call for applications from qualified professionals and experienced (priority will be given to persons with disabilities) persons wish to be considered for appointment in full-time positions of Chief for Program Implementation, Planning and Development of BPKS. BPKS looking of a prospective persons/prospective persons with disability who is interested to work with long term commitment in BPKS. The work place is at BPKS Complex, 17 Hatimbag, Dakkhinkhan, Dhaka North City Corporation, Dhaka-1230.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop/ design different plan, strategic plans, project and different planning tools
∎ Program implementation, management (based on organizational aspiration)
∎ Develop plan on promotion of fund-raising activities and assist to relevant persons.
∎ Develop and review relevant policies/tools/formats as per need.
∎ Develop annual plan of BPKS, monitoring, evaluation and research.
∎ Prepare different publications and relevant reports including progress, research, and evaluation and monitoring.
∎ Participate and represent the BPKS
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 28 to 45 years
∎ Have commitment to work directly and with partnership of organizations of persons with disabilities
∎ Have independent capacity to take initiatives, good communication skills, interpersonal and organizational skills and have sense of integrity, responsibility and computer literate.
∎ Have solid understanding of the principals of Project Cycle.
∎ Have knowledgeable to develop policy including business policy.
∎ Have capacity to facilitate and design research work.
∎ Have at least 8 years of work experiences in the area of development and planning.
∎ Have update knowledge about Bangladesh and information and data such as: SDG progress, UNCRPD, Climate and other statistics.
∎ Have solid understanding of monitoring theory and practice in effective project management.
∎ Have capacity to organize events, represent and participate to events
∎ Have capacity to share knowledge and skills and build the capacity of others.
∎ Have excellent knowledge in English writing and communication.
∎ Have commitment to work under-pressure for the organization.
