• At least 6-8 years’ experience to work on livelihood and climate change adaptation project

• Knowledge on general administration, project and financial management

• Knowledge on IGA related activities and climate change issues

• Above average language skills in both verbal and written in Bangla and English

• Able to analyses and take decisions and get things done in time

• Able to work under pressure

• Possess excellent communication and resource management skill

• Reporting and documentation skills

• Have strong leadership ability and motivation skills

• Ability to drive motorcycle and should have valid driving license

Agrogoti Sangstha is looking for a dynamic Project Coordinator (PC) for its’ livelihood project titled ‘Promoting resilience in households and communities vulnerable to climate change in Satkhira’ supported by Federal Ministry for Economic (Germany) Affairs and Climate Action through GIZ .

About the Project: Agrogoti Sangstha is going to implement the Climate Adaptive livelihood and Climate Smart Agriculture focused project in coastal area at Satkhira District especially Shymnagor, Kaligonj and Assasuni upazila. The Project will support 720 Climate vulnerable families especially women and the families will be capacities by receiving different types of capacity building training and developing BDP and FDP in individual level.

Side by side, the project will be formed 36 village groups and engaged the youth participants in the project activity for building climate resilient community.

The details eligibility and requirement of the position is as mentioned below.

Responsibilities :

• Lead the implementation team

• Ensure proper planning and implementation of the project activities.

• Coaching, mentoring, guiding and accompanying to the respective team members of the project.

• Experience of livelihood program in coastal region.

• Ensure sound monitoring, evaluation and reporting of the project.

• Establish effective linkage and coordinate with different stakeholders

• Capacity development of program for staffs and project participants

• Organize seminar, workshop, dialogue meeting with different stakeholders

• Administrative and financial management

• Documentation and dissemination

• Gross Salary: 500 Euro (BDT approximately 70000) per month and other benefits as per organization policy.
